Edit: Update, made a speaker box from a cheese ball container And let me tell you they absolutely get down. I mean incredibly loud and a mere 5 Watts split between the two at 7.6 ohms and the you'll quickly realize that you can tell they respond very well lower mid-range frequencies. These speakers will work Great! And a speaker pod designed for a computer. Build a pod that's about 0.125-0.25 ft³ Port it tuned between 80 HZ and 250 HZ and give the speaker 30 w set your high pass filter to to 120 HZ and be mesmerized at how well these speakers will reproduce mid bass and mid-range frequencies. They are incredible and do a good job at it. You pair this speaker with a 2-in full range with a high pass set 1000 HZ to 1500 HZ and you got yourself and absolutely incredible stereo for a computer. Heck you build six of those pods and please throughout your room or living room and pair it with a CT sounds tropo 18 configured infinite baffle on 250 W high pass set to 25 HZ and you got yourself one of the cheapest. Most impressive 7.1 surround sound systems that you could imagine Built extremely well. I live Dayton audio products they are gnarly good and will probably just redo my truck in Dayton audio

The specs on these matched up pretty well with the volume and port tuning on some powered bookshelf speakers I was working on and these made very fine replacements for the original drivers in those cabinets that were not well suited for the application. The tiny speakers now sound much larger than they are and much better than they did. In the proper cabinet with proper tuning, these are definitely winners especially in this price range. I would not hesitate to use them in much more ambitious or costly projects at all.

This thing hits. Replaced my 4" logitech subwoofer and i need to upgrade the box now. This over powers the port. Sounds amazing. Im pondering building a custom box for my truck and powering 4 to 8 of these. The performance shocked me. Definitely an upgrade. I cant imagine any 4" speaker hitting quite like this, especially at this price point.

Sounds good

Wanted to use these as ive had good experiences with Dayton audio before. They sound good paired with a set of full range soeakers. Only issue is it wont mount in a car application without modification.

These were better than the Bose they replaced in my 2011 A8L. Since the speakers weren't an exact replacement, I cut fiberglass mounting brackets for a perfect fit.
