The Gillette ProGlide Shield Razor Refills (8 Blade Pack) are, without a doubt, the best razor cartridges on the market, and this 8-pack offers fantastic value for money. I've been shaving for decades, and nothing delivers a consistently smooth, irritation-free experience like the ProGlide Shield. The star of the show is the Shield feature. The lubrication strips positioned both before and after the blades create an incredible barrier. This means the razor glides effortlessly over the skin, even against the grain or over sensitive areas, completely eliminating the redness and razor burn I used to experience with lesser blades. The blades themselves are unbelievably sharp and durable. Each cartridge lasts me far longer than competing brands, maintaining that initial smooth glide for weeks. The precision trimmer on the back is also a lifesaver for tackling tricky spots like sideburns and under the nose.

Excellent blades. Always a great shave. These are the only blades that I will use. Completely satisfied and definitely worth the price.

Very good razor. I get a nice smooth shave. Stays sharp longer than normal blades. I do have one problem with it, If you leave it face down on the sink, the rubber edge can actually adhere to the counter and pull off of razor.

I have no issues with the Gillette ProGlide Razor Refills as it provides a great shave even after a number of shaves. The refills are also a great buy compared to other options.

For over 60 years I used electric razors and occasionally bought standard blade razor to clean up some spots the electric razor missed. This time my wife bought a package of Proglide razors. The results were amazing, smooth and comfortable so that shaving became enjoyable. Although these razor blade can be used for a dry or wet shave, I discovered that using Gillette shaving cream enhances the experience and also means a single blade can last a full month.

I have been shaving for many years. From straightedge razors to twin blade, three blade, four blade, and currently five blade. All Gillette products. In fact I've never tried anything else. It turned out unfortunate that I purchased a dozen and 1/2 package of Fusion blades. Prior to buying these, the blades that I had always bought our Pro Glide. The problem is that Gillette said that fusion fits into the Pro glide handle. Yes it does, and badly. So I went in search of what I really wanted were Pro Glide razor blades. In my search on Amazon's website I came across these blades that are in fact superior to the regular Pro Glide model. While they are clearly more expensive, I consider that the investment is well worth it because I have now started using them for the last month and I couldn't be happier. These particular blades have a more complete coverage of beard softening product and it appears to last longer than what I used to get from my Pro Glide blades. Unless and until Gillette comes out with an even more superior product, I will continue to buy these blades and no others

The first time I used this razor I was extremely impressed by it!! The smoothness of the lubrication before and after the razor makes a huge difference in the smoothness of shaving! It doesn't even feel like you're shaving because of how smooth it glides against your face. I found that my facial hair grows quicker with this razor vs my Gillette fusion that vibrates (most likely because the vibration gets closer to my skin) I do prefer my other razor over this one for that reason. The lubrication, although in tact, doesn't feel as smooth as it did the first couple times. After several times using it, it wears our quickly. (I'd say by 4-5th shave you feel the difference). Overall, I would recommend this to someone that is starting off shaving vs someone who's been shaving for a long time. My biggest con of this razor is how fast the hair grows after using it and the lubrication not lasting that long. Thanks bzz agent for th free sample, in return for my honest review

I have been using Fusion Pro Glide blades since they arrived few years ago. Now they have come up with this new yellow Pro Shield version and only difference seems to be additional lubrication. Like Pro Glide, Pro Shield also gives excellent shave that is both very close and comfortable as well. It is ultimate shave men can get. However after first 10 uses user experience degrades quickly. I shave every day and do not have very thick hair and I use it about 20 days. First 10-12 days are very goods. Next 10 days are not as good as first ten days. It is pretty expensive as well, but after using this blades you do not like to go back to cheaper alternatives. The smoothness of the lubrication before and after the razor makes a huge difference in the smoothness of shaving. One thing I have noticed in this version is if you put down wet razor with blade facing down, yellow lubrication layer sticks to surface and comes out of blade rendering lubrication and hence blade useless.
