I like it. I have been using it for over a year for work meetings. I like the sliding lens cover for when not in use. I also like the adjust brightness for the little ring light around it. The better lighting makes me prettier and less tired looking in calls, but it’s more discrete than having an actual ring light on my desk. It’s away to hide that I care about my appearance as much as I do. This camera helps hide that work sucks the life out of me and that I am a little obsessed with my appearance.

The camera works as it should. I haven’t had any issues with it. This camera has good video quality and it can be screwed to a tripod for different video recording/streaming perspectives.

Update: A customer service rep reached out at the beginning of the year. They were running an end of year audit on reviews. This shows the company is serious about getting feedback and improving, which I can appreciate. They sent me two models (this one, the N930E, and another, which I won't discuss here). The picture quality is still great and I love the ring light, which really can improve the picture quality. I tested the microphone and this one does NOT have the same problem as the previous two I tried (clicking sound when the lens focuses). I guess they just had a bad batch or addressed the problem. I'm tempted to give 5 stars, because I don't think a microphone is of much importance with a webcam (pretty much every device you use it with will have it's own microphone and you can always buy standalone device, which you probably should anyway). I also appreciate the proactiveness of their customer service. I upgraded it from 3 stars to 4. I'm leaving one off simply because the microphone still leaves something to be desired. I'll let you decide if that's important to you or not. Original Review: When I first hooked up the camera it was in poor lighting. I was immediately impressed with the camera quality. The auto focus does a good job, though in general I tend to not be a fan of that feature on any camera. My wife did a live video that night and the first thing I noticed was how absolutely awful the microphone was. I ran various tests on multiple devices and in multiple locations. All the same results. I got in touch with support and they informed me I needed to do an Amazon return since it was the first 30 days. I did this and I had the replacement 2 days later. After several more tests, the second camera has the same issue, as can be heard in my video. Every time the camera focuses, you can hear a clicking in the audio. There's also a constant "whining" or white noise throughout the audio. It's a shame, because the price point and picture quality is great, but I can say with complete confidence that this is by far the worst microphone I've ever used. Bottom Line: If you have a separate microphone, consider getting this. If you expect to use the camera microphone, look elsewhere. I will be returning the second one I got, because while I have a great external microphone, my wife doesn't, and I don't want to worry about moving a separate microphone back and forth.

Love this camera. Easy to set up. Has a built-in light. The auto focus is great.

Great light and camera quality

tl;dr - I would not recommend this to others. In general this is an ok, but not great web camera for the price. Now that I've used it in person, I'm sure that there are better options. However, as a portable camera with ring light for someone who spends a lot of time on video calls from hotel rooms; this may be just what you need to keep bulk and weight down in your travel bag. It is adequately small and portable for one with a built in light. For those that want to read the full details, there are some design failures that are worth mentioning: 1. The threads are too shallow for mounting this camera on a tripod. The screw bottoms out before the foot clamps down on the tripod; making the thing wobble. This isn't an issue if you hang it from your monitor the way most people will. 2. The activity light is horrible. It does exist, but it passes light through from the ring light and is also extremely dim and the same white color as the ring light. With the ring light off it is possible to discern if the camera is in use; but you have to look at it closely and think about it. When the ring light is on; you can NOT tell if the camera is in use or not by looking at that indicator. This disqualifies the camera in my opinion. The activity light should be a different color (I recommend green or amber) and should be mounted in a way that it doesn't internally bleed light through that area from the ring light. 3. The privacy cover is a sticker they threw in the box. I use similar slide covers on phones and laptops that don't come with one built in; however as an advertised feature of this camera, that is extremely disappointing. Yes; technically the box includes a privacy cover that you can add; no the camera does NOT have a privacy cover itself. 4. White balance issues. For general use; the picture quality for this camera is good given it's price. There are some small auto-focus issues; but they have been relatively minor. However, I purchased this one (with a generally reviewed as bright ring light compared to other similarly priced cameras) specifically to use with a green screen on zoom calls. In this capacity; the camera gets thrown completely off. I look like a tomato. When I change the light source it briefly looks ok, but a moment later it adjusts the balance and goes back to tomato mode. This would be annoying but forgivable if it only happened with external light sources; but even using the ring light at full bright as the only light source; it still happens. For this reason; I 100% can't use this camera and will probably give it to someone who will only use it occasionally from hotel rooms. I've had better luck with other cameras from this same vendor; so this one is a bit of an enigma. Buyer beware.

I bought this because I wanted a less wide view. Plugged this in. Worked right away (plug and play) Light was nice but the image, with my green screen was terrible. I had simultaneously bought a green screen that mounted to my chair. Much easier than the one I keep having to clamp to my cabinet. The green screen just didn't work well. Too tight a space and it didn't sit up rigidly and plumb so the image sucked. Packed up the cam to send it back. I decided to try it without the green screen so I upacked it and plugged it back in. Next zoom meeting I was going to use it with no green screen and to my surprise the background appeared with NO screen. I had never been able to do that before. So this became an instant keeper. No need for a green screen and crisp chroma key. Love it.

Small, neatly packed box with essentials and a small manual. Being full HD but 30fps, I didn’t think this camera would perform so good. It captures movements sharply, almost as good as their 60fps camera. I got this as it was half the price and sufficed for my work needs. The light is good enough and makes the face lit just good for the video calls. Very happy and you will probably also find it as good.

I was looking for a webcam to attach to my extended screen (I do not use my laptop screen). Because I am looking at my screen while the camera is on the side, I look like I am talking sideways on zoom calls. . It is just better to look straight in the direction of the camera for video calls, so I needed one. In a camera, I was looking for the following - Decent quality (Just good enough for video calls) - No fish lens effect - Preferably not wide-angle - Preferably decent colour - With optional ring light that I can keep off unless required - Privacy protector (Camera cover/slider) I was worried because you get a lot of fake reviews these days, it's hard to trust the reviews. But, here's what I got - - The camera quality - Far better than what I get with my laptop camera, no fish lens effect, not that wide an angle - The attached picture is without the use of any ring lights. I didn't use the one with the camera. My room is lit with lamps that throw lights at the walls because I don't like it in my face. I think the camera captured the colour and light in my room just right. - The ring light with the camera is good though. You can keep it off. I prefer to not use any, because direct lights give me headaches, but the one with the camera is good if someone needs good lighting on their face for some reason. - Could use it out of the box - Attaches easily to the screen Overall, I am absolutely satisfied and got what I was looking for.

easy to install, image quality is great. great value for money

everything works as described. the picture quality is decent, the included simple privacy cover works as well the autofocus(AF) works by default on windows, but you do need to install the app on macOS to enable it. AF performance is just okey. the light could be a bit brighter as i always had to choose the brightest level. overall it's great and i am glad i picked this one over any more expensive ones as its got more functionalities, overall good image quality and yet cheaper price.
