Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this lamp shade. Assembly was a tiny bit fiddly, but the components are solid feeling metal so it doesn’t feel cheap. The finished product looks great; gives a nice texture and a warm glow to the room. Great size too.

Avoid this product. Putting it together a nightmare! Cheap looking. And ugly. Plus the worst, has a spider center piece too thick so I could not put on the finial - the screw to fasten the finial - standard- does not come above that center circle piece and so cannot attach. So, what do I do? Throw good money after bad and buy a new spider piece for the lamp? I want my money back, but would prefer to just throw out the lampshade rather that try to dismantle it and send it back.

I was skeptical about this purchase as it seemed too got to be true. I wasn't interested in fussy assembly, but I pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier. Easy to put together with simple, straight forward directions. Even had some extra parts and that was helpful because some parts are super small and hide easily. I had it out of the box and installed within 15 minutes. I even goofed and had the top wire upside down after I put it together, but hadn't used the adhesive. I popped it out and flipped it over and popped it back in. It is plastic but still looks like linen and the light cones through true to the bulb color. We have a smart bulb in ours and love the options with the linen shade.

I needed 2 large drum shades for some vintage lamps at work. I have purchased a lot of shades before in specialty shapes and sizes, so I know that they are crazy expensive and shipping them is always an unknown because of how fragile they can be. I was very skeptical of these unassembled shades but it turns out that it's actually ingenious for cost savings and keeping them from damage. They were easy to assemble and my only complaint about that is that they are a bit flimsier than standard shades because of the smaller pieces you have to put together. But that's not much of an issue if you don't jostle them. My only major problem with them is that the top piece where a spider harp's threaded post connects with the threaded nut or finial is thicker than a standard shade which makes it harder to attach the nut or finial, perhaps impossible if the threads on the nut or finial are even a little recessed. Overall extremely pleased and I would order them again.

I was quite skeptical as to the quality and the ease of assembly of these lampshades. What a pleasant surprise, these lampshades not only look expensive but are easy to put together. The directions and illustrations are clear, it only took me roughly 10 minutes to build the first lampshade and a fraction of that time to complete the second. My last comment, Wellmet even provides extra hardware, since the pieces are tiny and often times get lost. Thank you Wellmet for selling a quality product that is exactly as advertised.

Extremely difficult and frustrating to assemble!!! Top and bottom rings come in four pieces each and are only held together with little splicing tubes. The sections keep popping out of the splicing tubes.

I returned this as the beige color I ordered was more of a tannish brown beige and I wanted cream white. However, as daunting as it might have seemed when opening the package it was actually a fun item to put together . As I returned it , it also was able to be taken apart easily. ** have a little tiny ‘eyeglass’ Phillips head screw driver to assemble. I also placed both rings into the ‘ziplock’ edges and pressed them along as I went from side to side. You’ll see ! It was fun. Kit included a couple of extra connectors

This Lampshade arrives unassembled. You must put it together with the various pieces that are supplied. You do not necessarily have all the pieces. You won't know this until the very end. At this price, you would think the shades, although not very large would come fully assembled especially at that price. This product is a joke. Do not buy.

Surprised to receive a small box and had to assemble, very easy and kinda fun. The shade was excellent quality!
