I’ve been into pools since 1999, so I know a thing or two—and I have to say, this Bestway Steel Pro MAX 12' x 30" Above Ground Pool is a solid 10/10. The setup was super easy. With two people, it took about 45 minutes from start to finish, and everything went together smoothly with clear instructions. The size is perfect for families or just cooling off on hot days, and the frame feels sturdy and well-made. The depth is just right at around 26.5 inches of water—great for kids and adults alike. Now, the one thing to note: the pump that comes with it isn’t strong enough. If you're just dipping your toes into pool ownership, it might do for the short term, but I definitely recommend upgrading to a more powerful pump for better water circulation and filtration. As someone who’s been around pools for decades, I can confidently say a stronger pump will make a world of difference in keeping the water clean and clear. Overall, awesome pool for the price, easy setup, and a summer must-have—just plan to invest in a better pump!

I love this swimming pool. I have RLS, and kicking around in the water really helps. Plus, I've always loved swimming but will never be able to afford an inground pool. So I bought this pool for me. I'm 59 years old and it took me less than an hour to set it up. It's a nice way to cool down in the Florida heat. I like that the frame is made up of a very durable plastic. My old pool had a metal frame and it rusted after 2 years. The plastic frame will last much longer. I know that many people will buy this pool for their kids, but I gotta say, it's the perfect size for adults too. In fact, I'm the only one using it. The water is deep enough to kick around in it, and it's super relaxing just floating around on an air mattress. It's big enough, but not too big, so it's easy to keep clean. My one issue is the pump. After just one day, we noticed that it's leaking. The pool is great, but the pump is not. At any rate, the pool is worth the money. I love it.

Delivered to the front door was great. Putting it together was fairly easy. The lining isn't that durable, before we got it filled a bug ate through the liner. After we patched the hole the kids did have fun. But another bug chewed through it somewhere we couldn't find the hole so the water just kept leaking. When it was all put together it did look just like the picture. The outside railings were very durable. If the liner was more durable it would have been a lot of fun!

Arrived a day early. Best way still ProMax. My last one lasted for 2 years. I'm very excited this one is the 12 ft by 30 in deep. It will still fit in the same spot. I was able to manage building this by myself. I'm 61. Don't underestimate yourself. Cleared out the old pool to bring in the new pool. My advice on setup is to get it in the position you are hoping for it to be and put a few inches of water in and start pushing it out to make a perfect circle with no wrinkles. Then add your arms corners and legs. This made it so easy. I am super impressed. I'm not using the pump that came with it because I had upgraded to a stand filter we live in Florida and we don't want mosquitoes in the water. Best way is the absolute most fantastic pool product that's affordable easy to assemble. You can even call for customer service they have a great response. Five stars

I carefully set up the pool and filled it with water. Everything looked great! Excited to have the grandkids come over to swim. Then I noticed a small hole squirting water. I reviewed the instructions and they said to use the underwater vinyl patch…nothing included. Tried calling Bestway to see if they could send me a patch. They told me to talk to Amazon . So now I have to figure out a way to return this stupid pool or purchase a vinyl patch and hope it works and the hole doesn’t get bigger! Sheesh!

Update 7/18/2024- I've had this pool up for a few months now and it's still a dream. Super easy to care for and it's stood up great even through storms. Caring for this pool and giving the water clean is simple. I just use one of those floaty chlorine things and the chlorine tabs. Very happy with my purchase. bought this when it was on sale for $125. For the price my expectations were low. This thing was so simple to set up, took me about 45 minutes to set it up by myself, 10 minutes of this was me trying to find one of the tubes that I had accidentally put underneath the tarp underneath it. Other than that setup was a breeze. Once filled, I found that it was plenty big enough for my two toddler grandchildren to play in, and also big enough for me to swim tethered to the side of it to get some exercise. Plenty of room to float around on a floatie on a sunny day. For $125, can't beat it. The filter seems to run well and I can buy placements at any store nearby or here on Amazon. It looks great in my backyard and the neighbors are jealous.

Easy to put together when it's not windy. Not a deep pool but good for the money.
