Nice looking light fixture for the price. Had it a while now and it's held up well to the elements. Haven't had any issues with it not working or anything. Not much to say outside of that

Directions are typical for items like this -- not well written at all (a common failing), though they were semi-intelligible. I had bought another Maxxima light earlier from Costco which was good but failed after two years and COSTCO will get it back (component failure). Got this one because it was cheap and I regarded it as a temporary solution until the one I want is available for swap from Costco (one that gives more light). Surprisingly, though, this back door light delivers more light than I had expected (seems like significantly more than 40W equivalence). Wasn't difficult to install but they should supply weather stripping for it to keep water from getting into the wiring...I have bought some and will do that myself. (An annoying failing). There is no "motion detection" and I expected none, I have no clue why Amazon even listed that. I gave it a 4 star rating because of the mediocre directions and my prior experience with another Maxxima light noted here. Hopefully this one will last longer. Would I buy Maxxima again? I just did. We'll see if it was a good decision.

I have 5 of these on the front of my garage. I wanted lights made of aluminum since I live near saltwater and the old steel lights rusted. These fit the bill nicely. They look great, they are bright and they only light up at night. I also like the open bottom, since it makes them much easier to clean than the style I had with a removable top. Bugs still get inside that type and die there making a mess inside. Now they just fall out. I'll probably replace the lights on my house with these next.

These are absolutely beautiful and so easy! once they’re mounted, you’re done. I’ve had them since September of last year and although I really think they’re pretty and really like them on my front porch, I don’t like how bright they are. I have a glass front door and two glass panels, one on each side. When these turn on at night and the whole house is dark, it lights up my living room where the door is. They’re not quite that ‘ambience’ I was looking for on the front porch of my log home. These are super bright and I would’ve wanted a more warm dim light. I won’t take away stars for that because that’s my own personal preference but these are great. The photo attached is taken at 7:25 in the morning Eastern time and they are still on because I have such a big awning over top so they haven’t seen the sun yet and it’s plenty bright out!

Easy to install. Low power draw so inexpensive over the course of the year. Good lighting on my driveway. Dawn to dusk control

This light is great! The quality seems quite nice. Real glass nicely painted metal parts and even rubber washers to prevent the nut from scratching the paint when tightening it to the wall. The light output is bright - it seems much more than the 40W they say. It is slightly brighter than the 60W equivalent light it replaced. Time will tell how long the dedicated LED light source will last.
