Can the brush brush your hair?

Yes, you can brush your hair with this brush. In fact, you should brush your hair right away. A hair brush without hair looks suspicious. I've bought one for every woman in our family. Very well made.

Lets get straight to the point, I'm trying to travel with a little greenery... do you think this would be optimal to throw in my carry on?

This is a two year old question, but I will answer it. If this customer is asking in regards to taking the money filled brush through airport security, yes, it is fine. However, as a former TSO, I will tell you why a brush filled with a roll of cash will be “flagged”. Dollar bills are made of cotton yes? Cotton is an organic. Organic items (in my example: a roll of cash) appear orange inside the x-ray. Large masses of organic items (here’s another example: cheese & yesterday’s leftover pasta) look very very similar to how masses of C4 would look going through an x-ray. Inorganic items, such as some spices, sand, remains, appear green in the x-ray & may also be “flagged” for inspection due to the opacity of said items. Take a very large baggie full of coins for example. In the x-ray, large & thick amounts of metal like that, cannot be penetrated by the x-ray. Items such as ammunition (which is prohibited in carry on luggage), knives, guns & nunchucks (all prohibited) can be concealed (whether intentionally or unintentionally) within this baggie is coins.

Four inches deep and 1 inch diameter.

Can I hide my weed in it?

Yeah I guess if that's what you want to hide . But it's not going to stop the smell, you will still smell it.
