I bought one of these clicky hair trigger kits back in 2024 August, installed it and tested it to see it was working fine I hadn't used the controller for approx. a year, but when I came back to it, the L2 trigger wasn't working correctly due to an error with the PCB board. Despite it being over 11 months, I reached out to extremeRate and they were extremely helpful! They provided a brand new board for free which has been working perfectly. Customer service were very helpful, friendly, and easy going 👌 Have nothing to say but good words. Excellent product, excellent customer service.

Combined this with the back paddle mod and worked perfectly. East to install, YouTube video was really helpful and step by step was clear enough! The clicky functionality is clean and makes for a more responsive experience playing Warzone. It feels like the R1 button is sticking, but I actually think it’s just because it’s got such a small range of motion, I’m definitely not blowing myself up so it must be in my head!

Was a bit optimistic when I opened the box to weather I would be able to swap out the old for new as it looks quite complex. The step by step videos online on how to replace the triggers are simple to follow and I'd highly recommend you follow rather than take the chance in damaging the circuitry plate and trigger rubbers. The only down fall to it is it lessons the sensitivity for example racing games were the trigger is sensitive to controlling acceleration. So I would advise to only do one of the controllers if you've 2.

Product contains different tools AND components to those pictured. Confusing for a younger person. Also requires sanding and tools not supplied to install. Not ideal. Despite this, once installed it seems functional and is supplied with spares. Not functional with trigger extensions. Not awful. Not great. Worth every bit of £12 ;)

Would rate 5 if I didn't have to sand parts down to make the triggers work, the product is good but needs tweeking to have a final great item, great idea and almost a really good but no quite there

I feel bad writing this review because I've purchased back button kits for ps4 and ps5 controllers which have been excellent but this isn't a good product. In theory it's a good idea, replaces the trigger components with click buttons and inserts spacers to press then. The issue is the circuit that you have to replace which connects all buttons. Since installing I thought warzone servers were really leggy but it's controller. My left stick was less responsive to one side and I was getting serious lag in game, character moving slower. I've now uninstall it and controller is working fine. It's a shame because the triggers themselves are excellent but the negative impact it has on the rest of the controller just makes it unusable. I wish I had read the reviews before because others had said the same but I didn't because their other products have been amazing. They're back buttons products, strongly recommend

Did excactly as promised and much easier to fit than the tutorial make out. Highly recomended
