Fjällräven High Coast Hip Pack – Lightweight Waist Pack, Crossbody Sling Bag for Travel, Hiking & Everyday Use

I love this little pack. It's just the right size to pack everything you would otherwise put in your pockets, and then some. For comparison, it's almost the exact same size as the lululemon pack. I'm able to store my keys, full sized wallet, iPhone Max, wall charger and cable, EDC knife, AirPod Pro3s, small flashlight, and still have plenty of room to spare. As a 6'1 210lb male, it can be comfortably worn on the waist or as a crossbody bag. I like the navy blue color; it's understated, and still attractive. I haven't used it in the rain, but it seems like it would be more water resistant rather than waterproof. The pack is super lightweight and has all the functionality I need for a hike or attending an all day festival. I LOVE this pack and is well worth the cost.

Let me start by saying that I am NOT a fanny pack person. I did not have any at home and I haven't used one in decades. I'm more a crossbody bag or wristlet wallet kind of gal. I decided to look for one because of a planned all day trip to Disneyland with the kids. I did not want to bring a full wallet or purse with me all day, and a backpack would mean taking it off each time you wanted to grab your phone. So the obvious answer was the fanny pack, but I cringed at the thought of them. The Fjallraven hip pack is very minimal, lightweight, yet durable. It is also fairly good looking as far as fanny packs go! Not too puffy or bulky, and pretty comfortable. We walked 13+ miles that day and I had zero complaints about the fanny pack around my waist. It has just the right amount of pockets, not too many and not too few. I have a jumbo iphone 12 Pro Max which fits in the main compartment. The thinner pocket in the back (closest to your body) is perfect for drivers license, a few credit cards and some cash. There is enough material to also include a pair of sunglasses in the fanny pack for when the sun went down. And all the while keeping your belongings neatly and safely stowed while walking around Disneyland and getting on/off rides. Yes it is $50 which seems steep, but for the functionality and quality and looks, I would still recommend it.

Pros: size, expansion, adjustability, quality, organization, and looks. Cons: Only thing I would change, and this is being nit-picky, is that the straps can be a little too small in certain conditions. Above explained: I use this almost exclusively for traveling at this point. When I do, I'm able to fit my wallet, a phone or two, four passports, keys, and a few snacks with ease. It goes everywhere with me from the pool to excursions, hiking, shopping, etc. Sometimes it's just my phone and a room key, other times it's stuffed, and at no point is it too big or too small. My only nit-pick is that the straps are a bit thin when only wearing, say a t-shirt and I have strapped over my shoulder. When as a hip bag, it's less so, but if wearing thin shorts/bikini as my wife does, you will notice it.

I got this hip bag for a recent trip because my pants pockets would be too full and cumbersome. This bag fits nicely and has plenty of room for adjustment, so it would probably fit most people pretty well. The three pockets kept my stuff organized and secure well. Each of the zippered compartments is large enough for my iPhone 15 Pro, and the main compartment is extremely roomy. I do prefer the fabric of the Kånken hip bag better than this fabric, though. This fabric feels pretty plasticky, whereas the Kånken feels more like a good, stiff canvas. However, having bought both, this one had the most space and was a better fit for me. I feel like it could probably have been a bit less expensive, but it's Fjällräven, so it's going to be a bit speedy. I'm happy to pay it, though, because I know it's going to be very durable and last a long time, just like the rest of my Fjällräven gear.

The bag could be a tiny bit larger and the strap by 1/4" and it might be more attractive to a male but it is still useful as it is. When it starts getting much bigger and heavier it would start being the reason I bought this instead of using the others in my drawer. The quality is so obvious and very appreciated since most of the others I have are not in the same league at all. I am talking about sewing, material in and out, zippers and tabs, seams and design..and the reinforced area where the strap meets the body of the bag which is functional and cosmetic as you will see when you get one. I can get my little .380 into it when I want but today I just carried my minimalist wallet..iPhone 15 Promax..hankie folded..and I put a bunch of free lip balm samples I got at my dermo appointment and not even close to overload. The bag and strap are feather light but not flimsy if you understand. I hate junkie merchandise and this is not junk and easily worth the price. Most of my others are black but I liked the green so I copied my son who turned me on to the bag. I found no problem with comfort of the strap but I don't have it on me too long. I know these are with ladies in mind but I simply don't want all the stuff I carry in my pockets and men use these a lot and I am not worried about my manly image anyway. Bottom line: I recommend highly

Perfect alternative for to the Lululemon Everyday Belt Bag. The dimensions are slightly different and worked much better for my use case. We need to take our son's epipen with us whenever we go out, and this bag is slightly longer and fits the pens perfectly in addition to my keys, wallet, cell phone, and various other every day carry items.

The bag is much smaller than I feel was advertised. I’m 5’8” and stocky and it’s about the size of my hand. It’s the perfect size for a discreet waist bag but the strap is too small for me as a sling. It rides up. The models wearing it as a sling must be tiny people. I’m also not a fan of the white reflective fjallraven logo on a black bag. The bag really works well as a hidden waist bag underneath your shirt. The reflective logo seems contrary to its nature. If I keep it I may remove it. It’s quality made so I may decide to keep. It holds my wallet, keys, phone, and earbuds so I don’t have to but don’t expect much else from it.

Beautiful useful pack. Highly recommend.

Ich habe die Fjallraven Unisex High Coast Hüfttasche während meiner Reise durch Thailand intensiv genutzt und bin äußerst zufrieden mit ihren Funktionen. Die Tasche bietet ausreichend Platz für die wichtigsten Dinge, die man unterwegs benötigt. Mein Handy, Geldbeutel, Sonnenbrille und Schlüssel fanden problemlos Platz, ohne dass die Tasche überladen wirkte. Die Aufteilung der Taschenfächer ist gut durchdacht und ermöglicht eine organisierte Aufbewahrung der persönlichen Gegenstände. Besonders praktisch empfand ich die Größe der Tasche, die groß genug ist, um das Nötigste zu verstauen, aber gleichzeitig kompakt genug, um nicht störend zu wirken. Die Hüfttasche ist leicht und sitzt bequem auf der Hüfte, was sie zu einem idealen Begleiter für Aktivitäten macht, bei denen man die Hände frei haben möchte. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist, wie von Fjallraven gewohnt, erstklassig. Das strapazierfähige Material hat den Herausforderungen des Reisealltags in Thailand standgehalten und sieht auch nach intensivem Gebrauch noch gut aus. Die Reißverschlüsse funktionieren einwandfrei, und die Nähte sind robust.
