Great little camera body - simple to use with very good image quality
I was on the lookout for a small, lightweight micro 4/3 camera to replace my aging lumix gx85 which I used as a backup camera and as a smaller body to take anywhere when I don't need or want to carry lots of heavy gear around. The choice was between this and the lumix gx9 and when the Oly came up at a really good price I took the plunge and bought my first Olympus body. For my needs the dumbed down menus are perfect as I used them once to set the camera up how I wanted and will probably never use them again which is great because Olympus' menu system is not know for being easy to learn and navigate. The AP setting on the mode dial is also a great idea as it allows me to use some of Olympus' more advanced features like live composite without having to dive into the menus. I used this for a firework display recently and it made it easy to capture the light trails from the fireworks - see attached photos. The built in image stabilisation also works well and I've been able to take photos in low light without pushing the iso too high. Image quality is also good and seems to be on par with all the other 20Mp m4/3rds cameras including the more expensive high end models. JPEGs are nice straight out of the camera but I tend to shoot raw which allows me to get the best out of the m43 sensor using dxo photolab 4 (tip: deep prime noise processing in that software can hold on to a lot of details while cleaning noise when you do need to use iso settings of 3200 or greater) It is a great little camera body with easy to use menus and controls, very good image quality and lots of advanced features. It's in my camera bag when I travel or go out on a day's shooting as a backup to my main camera and it goes out with me when I don't want to lug a lot of gear around if I'm going to an event or a family gathering or what have you. Paired up with a nice bright prime lens it's great for indoor or low light photography, and with a kit lens or a macro it's perfect to carry with me when out shooting wildlife where it gets used to shoot everything I can't do with the main camera.

The Olympus OM-D M10 Mark 1V is an excellent camera.
I bought this Olympus OM -DE E-M10 Mark 1V camera to replace my old OM-D. The new camera is amazing! It has more mps that the old one and more control over exposers etc. The video is also more superior to to old one too! A good buy at a good price. thanks JD

New to digital SLR and getting started with Olympus OMD E-M10 Mark IV
Great camera. Recommend M. ZUIKO 14-150 lens for everyday and 75-300 for wildlife, both great lenses. Don't be tempted by the, 12-200 which I returned under warrenty due to sticky zoom operation (other similar reviews). Olympus image share app is great and you can transfer to phone wirelessly on the road even with camera off. Spare battery useful if out all day shooting. Choose genuine Olympus accessories - expensive but do the job (returned 2 lens hoods whch didn't fit properly before getting genuine.) Hope this is useful.

Good price for a lot of camera.
Arrived 2 days ago, it is easy to operate and comfortable in the hand. Navigating the menu is easy too. I have not yet put it through is paces, but the images I have taken are good. I'm not a beginner nor seasoned photographer, but would be a good camera either level.

A Very Capable and Affordable Camera
If you've enjoyed composing and creating good photos on your phone and are looking to do a little more than create great snaps, then this is the camera you need. You can achieve great things straight out of the box and setting the little dial to 'auto' will allow easy and immediate snaps. But only using 'auto' will not allow you into the creative process and artistic skills that the rest of the camera will allow. Take your time. Visit Rob Trek on You Tube and learn one great technique at a time. You will be surprised at 10 stop filters and Live Composites and starry sky photography. After learning these techniques, you will be pretty expert and taking excellent quality photos without the need of relying on Instagram filters!

Olympus EM10 larger sensor, but lost customisations
I bought the Olympus EM10 mark4 as an upgrade to my EM10 mark 2. The newer mark4 has a 20mpixel sensor replacing the mark 2's 16mpixel. The upgrade gives impressive results, I was not dissapointed. However the mark4's menus and options are now simplified; omitting some useful functions. Customisation of controls has been severely minimised and the saving of mysets (favourite camera settings),completely removed. Deletion preferences /instant/yes or no .. are no longer available. All in all the customisation and other functions were too much to lose so I returned the mark 4 camera and bought the Olympus EM5 mark3; which had all the missing functions plus a 20mpixel sensor, albeit more expensive. The return experience was faultless and a great asset for future purchases.

A pretty decent camera for the price
I bought the body only to replace an old Panasonic Lumix G6. I was specifically looking for a micro four-thirds so that I could save money on replacing the lens as well. The camera was delivered very quickly and I enjoyed getting used to the features, although I've barely touched the surface of what it's capable of so far. So far I've only used it for a couple of social events (so people photos) and a city break, so not pushed it yet. But it's performed well up to now. Some night photos didn't come out too well but that was most likely due to there being too much movement, so a 'user' error rather than a fault of the camera. The back screen isn't as flexible in its positioning as my previous camera and I am a little concerned that it cannot be turned over to protect it from scratches. But it's still pretty good and it has a nice feature which makes taking selfies a little easier. It took me a few attempts to successfully connect to the App (OI Share). The Wi-Fi seems to be sensitive to VPN software and I had to turn off 'Connect on Demand' in my phone settings. After that it was fine and easy to use. Although I'm not a camera expert by any means, overall I'd say it's a good buy and I'm happy with it.

Super soddisfatta !!!!

The product is reasonably good. If you are a image maker , go for it. The image stabilization is top notch. The auto focus is quite good for stationary subjects. However autofocus for moving subjects though is not that great. However if you are a pixel peeper and require very good low light performance, stay away from it. At the end of the day it all depends on the price at which you get it. If you get a good deal on it like the one I got, I'll say go for it.
