Bristles need to be thicker for flogging with woodgraining.

Besides being too floppy, in my opinion, the hairs of the brush were all over the place because it was badly packaged and the bubble packaging distorted the brush hairs. I ended up using a brush I bought at the 99¢ store - which worked better.
