MOOG RK80942 Front Upper Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly for Chevrolet Silverado 1500

it's Moog. their stuff is great. it fit perfectly and exceeded the quality of what was installed less than 3 years ago. at least I won't have to replace it in 3 years.

After installing these, I was very happy with the quality and workmanship of these and the sturdiness.. my other originals were worn out, they were about nine years old… and the rubber tore on the bushing.. after replacing them with these new ones from moog my vehicle is now sturdy and doesn’t shake or anything now so I’m very happy with these, I will update if there’s any problems that arise

Had absolutely no issues with install on my 2001 gmc sierra 1500. Same geometry as the factory ones and thank goodness for prime because that saved my posterior

Fits 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 perfectly. The ball joint is greaseable which is great for maintenance. It does seem to have some grease in it but not enough so add more if you can and you will need an alignment after installing this control arm. I also noticed that the original ball joint stud is longer than the ball joint stud on this control arm but it fit fine so it must be a new design. I would recommend this Moog part and would buy again.

Fits, and works perfectly for 99-02 Chevy/gmc 1500 with 4wd, and I’m sure it would work for other years and models, make sure to get some NEW camber hardware as you’ll probably need it. Been a couple of months on the truck and still feels good.

I hope it lasts. The last upper control arm only lasted 7000 miles before the ball joint was worn out.I don't recall what brand it was. It was lubricated.
