My stage 4 kidney challenged 22-year old lioness is still going strong, thanks to lots of medication, subdural fluids AND this water. We noticed a difference in her hydration level and the condition of her fur when we switched from other bottled water and Brita filtered water. Yes, it costs soooo much to keep her water fountain well- supplied, but we feel the improvement in her health is worth it. Every little bit helps! I also use it when I make her dry freeze dried food into wet food and in some of her medications. Yes, she drinks more due to its taste, but I think the real plus is the reduction in mineral content that would interfere with her fragile urinary system ph balance. I buy both the small and large bottles - small for preparing her food, , etc,- big ( much easier) for filling the water fountain.

I only buy this water for one of my cats that has a lot of medical issues. I use it for my other animals as well but it's mainly for my boy that has a lot of Health issues. I noticed he started feeling better and using the litter box correctly after he started only drinking this water. He had some blood mix in his urine when we first found him and he would cry by the litter box as soon as we started this water he completely stopped with the blood in the urine and having issues going to the bathroom. He was checked by the vet since he is on a ton of medication, they were happy to hear that something was working for him other than pumping him up with more antibiotics. We've been using this subscription for the last 3 years since we had him. I do think it's kind of expensive but out of all honesty it's so good it's worth every penny. I recommend this to every single pet owner.

I bought this for my sphynx cats at home. It doesn't have a smell. My kitties seem to enjoy it. I just put it in their water fountain. Took one star off because it's soo pricey for just water. 😞

If your kitty has problems with sediment in their urine or chronic conditions involving crystals-- this stuff actually works. I have male cats that each have a different level of an issue and I did not believe it, but this actually works. I was in NYC and had brought a couple kitties with me for my 4 month stay (for work). And the NYC water I think has too many minerals? Something- the cats were sick and I got stomach problems. ANYWAY, we all started drinking spring water only and then one of the more sensitive kitties had a flare up almost to the point of blockage-- I thought "oh my gosh, I am giving him a monster amount of minerals in his water" so I went looking for zero mineral water and found this. I read up enough to try it (at that point you try anything because the next step is a hospital stay of 1-4 days) and with some relaxation this helped me block the problem from getting any worse. I am back home in CA and have another kitty and again-- it totally helped. Then another incident. In less than a year I have 4 incidents with 2 different male cats and I have been dealing wit this for a LOONG time (I have a 20-year old cat who ended up having "PU" surgery after about 7 blockages-- if you know, you know). SO: why don't they drink it all the time? Well first of all, it is expensive. Second of all, the the tap water where live is clean bit not overly mineralized (not like the store bough MINERAL WATER we were all drinking). SO- if you want, give it to them all the time!! If I only had 1-2 cats, that is what I would do. But I change out 6 water bowls every day (sometimes multiple times a day). I would be throwing away more than they'd be drinking. So I use it as medicine (along with some prescriptions to dilate and to bring down anxiety and quell pain). It TOTALLY works for us.

A 3 star primarily because of how AMAZON packages these large heavy water containers. They pack them with one little piece of packing paper. This is not the first time they have show up damaged and emptied out. We pay for a subscription. The water itself, our cats love. Our cat with urine issues drink much more of this water than tap water which she needs.
