They are what you would expect except the tabs actually fit. It’s not a fight to get them in the folders.

These file folders are exactly what I was looking for. Albeit, they aren’t anything fancy to look at. The color is dull. And I’m somewhat of a fashionista, always looking for bright colorful and fun office supplies. With that being said, I could have ordered some “pretty” folders, but the value wouldn’t have been there. We do a lot of filing where I work, so for this particular item I needed quantity. Quantity is difficult to find in cute colors while still being gentle on the wallet. Are these cute? No. But did I get what I paid for? Yes. These folders are versatile, sturdy, space saving, and a good value for what was paid. The performance is as expected for file folders. But the real deal is in the quantity. I can order more from Amazon and pay a little less than if I were to order from specific retailers.

Good appearance & quantity but expensive for being used

Quality material! Fits as expected (I have a box- filing cabinet for apartment life, fits great! My only two complaints are the packaging (very bent and extremely hard to unbend, had to throw some away that just wouldn’t straighten) and I had to manually cut the tabs to fit properly, but I didn’t really mind as organizing in general brings me comfort! Just wish it was packaged flat!

Amazon Basics products offer great pricing and, frankly, corresponding quality. I used to buy very similar looking, muddy green hanging folders from Staples. They help me organize my important documents in a easy-to-see, easy-to-find fashion. I recently decided to separate out my legal documents year by year, so I needed a lot more folders. A LOT MORE. So why not give Amazon a try? It's much cheaper than the national brands. When I received them, I fully understand why they're less expensive--they feel noticeably flimsier on first touch! They certainly look the part in photos, but they do not compare to my Staples original. They weigh lighter, and are made out of what almost feels like recycled materials. However, this is an area in my life (and you life, too) that you can safely save. As long as you place logical amount of papers inside these folders, they hold up just fine. These folders forever reside in a sturdy storage box or a metal drawer anyway, so why do they gotta be top quality? Simply put, they don't. Now I have 50 more folders to categorize my messy documents, and they get the job done without hardly wasting much money. I highly recommend these for personal use, or even for small businesses! For big name, corporate companies and offices, I may opt for the nicer stuff. Just to save face.

I saw all the negative reviews about the packaging on these folders, so I was hesitant to try them, but the price convinced me to try. It looks like they heard everyone's complaints about the folders getting banged up in shipping, because my folders arrived in a labelled box for 75 file folders. I ordered the 75-pack of green folders, and they arrived in the typical condition of hanging folders in large boxes (they have a slight bend to them, because the bars at the sides of the box let them sag a bit in the middle, but they straight out perfectly when you put them in a cabinet). None of the significant folds and damage from shipping that some older reviews show. The pack includes 75 clear plastic label tabs, and a few extra paper slips (perhaps 90 label cards?). They're good quality, but I've struggled to put some of them in the folders. When the bars were glued into the folders, some seem to have excess glue that ran into the slots for the tabs. Sometimes I've been able to break the glue bond and slip the tab in, sometimes I've had to set a folder aside and use it further back in the cabinet where the tab was being inserted to a different part of the folder. That glue issue seems to be the only problem, and it's not uncommon in other folder brands. Comparing the price of these hanging folders to any other brand, these are a phenomenal buy. For basic green folders, these are a great option.
