Does what it’s supposed to. Helped my swing a lot, but not that durable
I really like this mat. It does what it’s supposed to. I’ve been using it everyday for about 2 weeks. The white painted lines overlayed on the velvet material do start to wear almost immediately. I didn’t have super high hopes for this, based on reviews and price (not that $30 for a piece of velvet tacked to a rubber doormat is a bargain - but respectively), but I can say I’m satisfied with my purchase. So far the green velvet material has held up well after daily use. I was able to correct an out to in swing issue I was encountering and helped me with ball first contact. It hasn’t ripped as it has for some. I personally didn’t have any issue hitting balls off it (balls rolling off may). However, when I do hit balls off of it I do so very sparingly. I try to use clean golf clubs, use it indoors or in a clean area in my yard and I try to simply skim the surface in order to see the shape/orientation/start of the divot I would be creating. So far it’s done exactly what I hoped it would. It has gotten some dirt stains on it that sort of mat the velvet, but I used a little diluted dish soap and it came right out and back to the original appearance. It’s not a perfect product, but I think if you treat it with a little care it should last and help you for some time.

Great product except the markings
This mat is heavy, seems well made (except the markings), and mostly stays in place when using without anchors due to its weight. I've taken about 15 swings on it and it has marked my swing through each time which is wonderful. A couple were on target but most were slightly outside in which is what I thought based on my play and my father telling me. I had one swinging with my 7 iron that hit the mat just behind the ball mark which did move the mat about an inch. That swing cracked the markings just behind the ball placement mark. That being said, I wonder how many more hits like that will eventually rip off the markings on top? This is the only problem I see with this product or it would have received 5 stars after about 15 swings of the club.

Works well
The replaceable mats are nice but I accidently left mine in the yard and the sprinklers went off. I pushed the water out and dried it in the sun. Still works and still on my first mat after a few months. Been left in the sun. The turf has taken a beating as well. Good product for the price.

Works well, durability is questionable
Works as advertised, stays in place & does a good job of showing you your swing pattern. However durability is poor. After taking 25 or so swings after opening it the front edge is showing wear & the foam under the mat is ripping off and shooting across my living room when I swing. I purchased the medium mat & the problem is the front of the mat is not long enough. Even when swinging a wedge the club face clips the rubber at the end of the mat. I’d recommend the large mat if that solves this problem but would not recommend the small or medium mats.

First thing first.
My opinion. Great idea, good product. But I must find a consistent way to make contact with the ball, first and then address the divot issue.

Not Durable. Had it only 5 days and it has a massive hole in it
I purchased this mat to replace an older one I had been using for a year (different company). I've had this one only 5 days and it already broke through the surface, rendering it useless. Even before the it broke, the mat was difficult to read after a "divot" because the surface wouldn't return to normal and still appeared darker no matter how much I tried to wipe it back. I guess it MIGHT be okay for long irons or a wood, where the swing is more shallow, but anything with a steeper swing is going to chew through this thing in a few swings. Aside from lessons, a divot board is the most valuable tool someone can have. Unfortunately, this one isn't it. Spend a bit more money and get a good one. Lesson learned.

It’s Velvet
Well like most golfers, I find ball striking challenging. Hit it fat or thin, face open/closed, toe or heel hits are easily identified, verified with this device. However, it is made of velvet and not meant to be used as an ordinary practice mat. It will not stand up to thousands of shot for weeks on end. They say the surface is replaceable but mine is still pretty new so I haven’t looked into it. After each stroke, you have to brush the nap back to “reset” the surface. I found it more difficult to do it with just the club I’m holding. Easier to use your hand if it’s not too challenging to reach the ground. The bottom line is that the device works and the price is about what I expected for this device. If you are inconsistent in getting pure contact striking the ball this could help.

Very poor quality for a very high price. This happened after a few days of swinging on the mat. One thing to note is that I am a young male that has a high swing speed, which is why I bought the most expensive mat. I asked the seller for a refund and they only offered 50% off and for me to keep this junk. I see they have since raised the price haha wow how rude to the poor unsuspecting customers. Let this be your warning to just go and buy the cheaper versions out there. This one is not worth it unless they decide to realign the price with the quality.
