BOSCH BAT414 12-Volt Max Lithium-Ion 2.0Ah High Capacity Battery

I bought the BOSCH BAT414 12-Volt Max 2.0Ah battery as a replacement for an older one, and I’m very impressed. This battery is heavy and fits well and compatible. It snaps perfectly into my Bosch 12V drill and impact driver and gives noticeably longer runtime compared to the older one—value for money. It functions as described.

I like the 12v tools for their small size and good power. The batteries do tend to run out, though, and there's no way to sit those tools on the ground. This battery solves both of those shortcomings. It also helps the handle feel great in the hand, with a positive stop on the bottom. I haven't timed the battery life, but it does seem to get quite a bit more than my previous 12v batteries. These are a bit expensive to replace ALL your batteries with, but I'm phasing these in as the old batteries wear out. All my cordless drills and lights are Bosch. Seeing the batteries upgrade over time (the amp hours have gone up steadily) is encouraging, especially since the batteries work in my oldest 12v (and even the odd 10.1v or whatever that was) tools. Expensive, but good for multiple reasons.

These seem to have a little extra "oomph" with my Bosch 12v tools. I reserve them for heavier tasks.

I bought this for my BF for Christmas, with a multitool. The clips that hold the battery to the tool are very prone to breakage. These broke with very little usage (like 10 minutes). I should've read the reviews on it, because it's a common occurrence. Other than the clip issue, the battery itself is amazing. It holds a charge for a long time. Hours of use on one charge (after taping the battery to the tool)

Bosch batteries are bloody expensive but the extra expense is worth it. I have a fair collection of Bosch 12v tools. The small 2 amp hour batteries are great for drills. But not very good with the router or sander. These 6 ah are better with these power-hungry tools. I just got this battery so I can't say much about how well it hold a charge after being recharged 100 times. However, I have a bushel of Bosch 2 ah batteries and even the oldest are still working fine after several years. I've picked up two generic 6 ah battery for my tools. They're cheaper than the Bosch and I got my money's worth. (There's a wisecrack in there.) Anyways I chose to bite the bullet and reach deep into old miser's change purse and buy the brand name battery. This battery came from an Amazon merchant named TOOL PARTS.. It was the best price on Amazon. It arrived on time. It was well packaged. I was surprised when Canada Post showed up and requested a signature. Keep this in mind if you don't work from home or if you have a problem with porch pirates. Overall I'm impressed with the service and will look at more of their stuff.
