24" x 6.5 ft. Clear UV Blocking Window Film

I used this for a school project to test the effects of UV radiation on rates of photosynthesis in plants. I had access to a UVB meter and this product is effective in blocking out UV radiation. It works!

I purchased this film to stop the sun from fading my floors. It may have indeed reduce the UVA and UVB rays, but my floor still faded. I ran a test by putting a piece of colored construction paper that was partially exposed to the sun light that came through the treated windows. Within one week the paper was obviously faded. When I called the manufacturer, they informed me that other properties contribute to fading, specifically heat from the sunlight and the light itself. They recommended the UV protection along with heat reducing film. CPFilms was very supportive and customer service focused. Gila was also customer service focused. My only complaint is that I was led to believe by the description of this product that my fading problem would be resolved. Had I not been careful to monitor the fading, my floor would have been significantly damaged to the point it would need to be replaced, the floor is only 6 months old. I will probably try the UV and heat resistant film, but I'll be sure to run the same test with the construction paper.

Installation was easier than expected. So far, it has really done the job and even kept the garage cooler.

Not a good product, keeps peeling off the window. I tried to tape it to the sides if the frame to make stay. Doesn't sticks well. I wouldn't recommend it.
