Best light for your buck, lightweight, powerful, and versatile
I ordered one of these to try out for myself first to make sure I like it. I was so impressed that I ordered another 15 for my work colleagues for Christmas gifts. The charging port on this item is not USB-C, it is micro USB. Otherwise, the product does everything as advertised. is difficult to accidentally turn on in your pocket, and the side lights are an excellent option. Granted they can only be used if you set the light down on a flat surface and there is zero wind or if you suspend the light from it. Flashlight weighs less than 1/2 of 1 ounce. The UV feature is useful and the different brightness modes work well to give you just the right amount of light while maximizing the battery run time. There is no room for improvement with this, unless the charging port accepted a USB-C for a faster charge. That’s hard to find for $25. I have many Nitecore lights and they don’t pay me or give me anything to write reviews. In my experience, they have always stood behind their product, and the only disappointments have been when they have discontinued products that I thought were excellent and instead brought to market items that I don’t think will be big sellers. But what do I know, I’m not their market research person.

What a fantastic every day carry light!
My wife had accused me of loving flashlights more than her, and even though she was kidding, I do have a fascination with them and quite a collection! The Nitecore TIKI GITD is my first from them, and if the performance of this one is any indication, it will not be my last! I absolutely love it! I am always on the hunt for a small, bright light that I can carry everyday, and this checks all the boxes! Small, weather proof, multi-modes, bright, great battery life, and best of all, rechargeable. I really can't find much to complain about, keeping everything in context. It's not a light you would use for heavy duty use as a policeman or EMT, but you could as a backup. The flashing mode would definitely be useful if you were trying to attract someone's attention. And that's probably my only real complaint. It took me a little bit to get used to switching modes. 2 quick pushes but the light into super low brightness mode, and each subsequent push cycles it to the next level. Holding down turns it off. Easy enough. The problem I had, is switching to the UV/floodlight requires 3 pushes to access them, and I kept triggering the main light on the 2nd push. Once I got the feel for 3 quick pushes mastered, all is great! It is not really a problem at all with the light, just like any new technique, you just have to practice on it a little. I really like it quite a bit, and I think you will too!

Bright LIttle Lights with Lots of Features
It is a bright little light! It has an easy-to-use UI with quick access to the main light and no worry of accidentally having it turn on. I like the variety of lights it has, including the leading light and slide lights. I have started carrying it as my EDC light. It is so small I hardly notice I am carrying it. It is similar in size to my Rovyvon A3 light. The glow-in-the-dark body is a nice bonus!

Best keyring flashlight out there!
Purchased after seeing a review on YouTube. Nitecore makes nice stuff and this little keychain light is no exception. I usually don't care for keychain lights since they are usually too small for decent illumination, but this Tiki light puts out ALOT of lumens on high. Seriously, it does the job of bigger lights in a small form factor. It has four lumen levels, a lantern mode, a beacon mode and a UV light mode. You also have the ability to long press the power button for momentary light on high mode for 300 lumens. Nitecore makes the Tiki in three different models. Tiki, Tiki LE, and Tiki GITD ( glow in the dark). THE LE model adds red and blue lights in the auxiliary modes. Maybe it stands for Law Enforcement? My review here is the GITD but the standard Tiki doesn't glow in the dark. So, here's what I found... First, the not so good... 1) The battery on this USB rechargeable light is very small so don't expect long runtime. 2) The included keyring is difficult to put on since the polycarbonate body where it attaches is very thick. It is possible to break or tear your fingernails with this one. 3) The light output is just ok for outdoor use since the battery is so small. Lower lumens are better suited for indoor use. I don't have a need for the UV light feature. 4) Since it is a tiny light, it may get lost. 5) The rubber USB cover is very thin and flimsy. Now the good... 1) The small size works great for a true keyring flashlight. Use a bigger keyring or tie a lanyard on it to pull out of your pocket easier. 2) Although battery life is short, it is super bright on high. As I mentioned above, it does the job of a bigger light on high mode. 3) The lumen levels are nicely spaced for indoor use. And this is where I use the Tiki the most. At night I use the lantern mode to walk down the hallway or check doors and windows to light up my walking space. The Tiki is EXTREMELY useful in this mode. It's small enough to fit in your shorts or sweats pocket that you won't even know it's there. And when you need powerful light, high mode won't disappoint. A nice feature of this Tiki is the ability to hold down the power button for momentary light on high mode. Then release to turn off. Cool. 4) I tied some red paracord to the light as a lanyard to hold the light easier and pull out of my pocket. It's also easier to spot in case you drop it. 5) The USB Rechargeable feature is awesome and charges quickly from any USB port. Overall, I'm happy with the Tiki light from Nitecore. It's a legitimate backup light for anyone that needs light in a small form factor. Just expect to recharge it often if you use it regularly. I usually carry a good quality rechargeable magnetic tail flashlight with me everyday in my pocket and this little Tiki is always in my jean's 5th pocket as a backup. I like it for what it is and I just wish it had a magnetic tail since I find those to be useful. The four star review is short battery life, and lower lumen levels.

A Must-Have Keychain Accessory
This flashlight has exceeded my expectations and is the most versatile keychain flashlight I have ever used. One of the standout features of the Tiki flashlight is its convenient side button. Unlike other keychain flashlights that require a twist-to-turn on mechanism, the Tiki’s side button allows for easy one-handed operation. This small design choice may seem insignificant, but it makes a world of difference when you’re in a hurry or need to quickly illuminate a dark area. Cycling between on/off and brightness levels is a breeze, whether you need a dim light for reading or a bright beam to light up a room. The inclusion of UV light, strobe, and what I like to call “lantern mode” has proven to be surprisingly useful. I've used the strobe when crossing the street at night and the lantern mode, which diffuses the light a little, is perfect for lighting up a table or small area... and you can stand it up on its end for hands free use. If I had one minor suggestion for improvement, it would be to have a USB-C port instead of micro-USB since we are all switching. However, I understand that the decision to stick with micro-USB was likely made to maintain the flashlight’s compact size. Nevertheless, the Tiki’s overall performance and functionality more than make up for this small inconvenience. I am so impressed with the Nitecore Tiki flashlight that I have already added it to my list of go-to gifts for family and friends. Even though we have flashlights on our phones, this is way more convenient to use, brighter, lighter, and has more useful functions. Everyone should have one of these.

This Flashlight Isn't a Toy
The NITECORE TIKI GITD not only isn't a toy, it's a serious flashlight scaled down for portability. In the week that I've had mine, I've noticed that the main LED is very efficient, and drains the battery far slower than I might have anticipated. For those of us who wear traditional blue jeans, the watch pocket is a perfect place to stash the light, and have it available quickly. The glow in the dark feature of the body is very handy at night, making it easy to find in the dark. the body of the flashlight glows throughout the night. having already bought two of these for myself, and one for a sister-in-law, I will be buying more for others in my family. Nightcore has some nice flashlights, and this is another good one. For 25 dollars its a good deal.
