5.11 Tactical COVRT Small Web Loop Molle Insert for Backpacks, Style 56280

So this has webbing on both sides, one side has horizontal, and the other vertical. I believe this product is of good value for the price. I use this with my 15" laptop back pack for easy travel through airport security. And I place all my on board goodies into pouches I have installed onto the web backing. This makes traveling much easier.

Worked just as I hoped, a little flimsy but it wasn't a problem for me.

I have one I keep attached to my passenger car seat. I added two carabiners to the grab handle and loop it around the head rest. I have one MOLLE pouch that I use to throw in my sunglasses, change, pens, random stuff I don't want all over my car. I also attached a first aid kit and knife with a window breaker, because I'm that kind of guy. I also use one in my daily backpack for the same purposes. It makes it easy to pull out and move from briefcase to backpack to gym bag and keep my smaller essential items organized. It is floppy with a thin plastic insert. If you put it on the car seat it folds in on itself, and in a backpack it will NOT stay rigid and upright. I went to Lowe's and had some thin plywood cut to fit inside. It helps to keep it more rigid but doesn't make it much heavier. I do wish it was more rigid to begin with since it's used to attach heavier gear to, but it was a simple enough fix that cost $3.

This piece of equipment is well made, and I hope it will serve me for a long time...

This one does the job as intended for me, which is to attach items for easy access in my back pack. The molle is set up to use this panel with a vertical orientation, which is great in a back pack. The insert is flimsy and will fold to the weight of multiple attachments. in my back I hook it to the top with the hydration loop and it works great. The Hazard 4 panel is much better made and has a more durable insert, but it is designed to use in the horizontal position (not ideal for the back pack). 5.11 gets the job done as stated, but if you are looking for an insert into a bag were the horizontal orientation makes more sense, go with Hazard 4.

Just the right size to add to a gun safe door, or pack, or just for carry. Handles are adjustable for horizontal or vertical (back or front) use of molle loops. Holds as much weight as you would wan't to reasonably pack on it. Center plastic plate is the right stiffness for a light load, may need a thicker plate or thin plywood for a heavier load.

Excellent ! Made my backpack perfect. Very well organized now and actually made more space than i had.

The utility of this simple attachment was outstanding. My only request would be for a more stiff/substantial support to keep the bag more rigid. Otherwise, this is an excellent utility item that I use to move a go bag load out from bag to bag.

Ich habe diese Molleplatform für meinen Ortlieb Elevation Pro besorgt, da dieser Rucksack keine Molle Schlaufen besitzt (es ist ein Rucksack der zum Alpinwandern bzw. Von mir auf Klettersteig klettern genutzt wird). Befestigt habe ich das Ganze mittels Karabiner am Daisychain meines Rucksacks. Es passt hervorragend sollte allerdings nicht zu schwer beladen werden. Ein Pouch für eine Nalgene Flasche 1l und nen kleines Pouch für diverses plus ein erste Hilfekit sind bei mir daran befestigt. So habe ich zu meinen 32l Volumen eben noch ein wenig mehr. auch für den Schnellzugriff z.b. Um ans First-Aid Kit zu kommen ideal. Für Tagestour en o. Auch Overnighter mit einer Übernachtung ideal. So habe ich einen Rucksack für mehrere Anwendung.

Bough the small - perfect for my Karrimor SF Delta 35. Some reviewers have said they don't see the point of one side having horizontal MOLLE webbing in addition to the front having vertical MOLLE. While I see their point in some regards - think it just lacks a bit of imagination. My advice, get some of the assorted MOLLE clips - there are suppliers who will sell anywhere from 10 - 30+ of these MOLLE fixing accessories for around 10 GBP. If you do - I'm sure you'll be able to fit the necessary MOLLE pouches and storage solutions to both sides of the 5.11 insert. Also if you even up the weight of front and back arranged pouches and gear - you're not going to get the bending of the insert that others point out can happen. If you still do - there's a hook and loop (velcro) tab you can pull apart to replace the flexible panel that slides through the centre of the panel - and you can replace this with a similar-sized piece of hardened plastic should you wish to. The MOLLE webbing is well made and the whole panel is very well stitched. Am thrilled with this as it allows be to just remove and transfer to another backpack as I need to - not to mention my backpack is 100% more comfortable as I have managed to have the heavier items in the middle of the panel with lighter items top and bottom on both sides too - which puts the weight where it should be - closest to the centre of your back. Have included a photo of the front and one of the back of the panel with the way that I have attached just to give an idea of how it can be set up. - Hope this review helps.

Eigentlich ist diese Molleplattform dazu gedacht, an der Rücksitzlehne eines Autos für Ordnung zu sorgen. Ich habe nun einige Strippen daran befestigt, um sie an einem Rucksack anbringen zu können. Damit kann ich mir erstens aussuchen, welchen Look der Rucksack haben soll. Zweitens erweitern sich die Möglichkeit, Dinge zu sortieren, ungemein. Man kann daran nicht nur Taschen, sondern auch z.B. auch Kamerastative oder Flaschenhalter. Dieses System ist ja hochflexibel. Wenn ich möchte, kann ich damit auch im Rucksackinneren für Ordnung sorgen. Die Strippen sind nämlich entfernbar. Kurzum, eine tolle Sache.
