AquaTeak Premium Teak Oil

I bought this to use on an Aqua Teak Bench that I had purchased for my shower. I wanted to make sure to oil the bench for protection before I started to use it. This was very easy to apply, I just used a sponge brush and basically painted it on the bench, waited for it to soak in, then wiped off the excess. It took very little product to do the job, so this bottle will last a long time. And the bench looks great, and will be protected in the shower.

Purchased a Teak stool and according to the literature I would need to have a Teak Oil to keep it 'sealed' and protected. I have had the opportunity to work with Teak woods and have found that unlike most other types of woods, Teak wood is unique and needs a lot of attention and oils. After some careful research to find the ideal oil, this oil met that criterion. Applying Teak Oil is not simply applied and forget it. You must, like polishing an automobile, "work it in" in order to protect your investments. This oil is no different. Once you understand the 'work' involved to work the oil in, and do it often and correctly, and oil, including this one, will work just fine. There are other oils one can use for protecting wood surfaces, but if you want pure Teak blends, and do not mind the efforts to work with it, then this may be the correct choice. Now it is not a professional grade oil, after all professional woodworkers use their own special blends, but for something right out of the bottle, you will be happy with this.

Love this teal oil. Initially purchased for a teal shower bench but then used it on the rest of the wood in my house. It all looks better than brand new. It’s Low VOC. You can definitely smell it for a day or 2 but I like the smell. It’s kind of earthy. Not like other oils that over powering and chemical smelling. I let it sink it overnight then removed the excess the next day. It did not remove any of the finish. It just enhances it.

I just bought a teak shower seat, and put two applications of this teak oil on each piece BEFORE assembly, never wiping off the excess oil. Then I let the pieces 'rest' overnight. The next day, I assembled the seat, and soaked all the assembly screws in the teak oil, and assembled the seat with the screws still dripping oil, so the oil would go down the screw holes to protect the wood internally. Tightened all screws down real good, then applied a third coat to the entire assembly, and let set for about 45 minutes. I then wiped all the excess oil off with a clean cloth and it looks perfect, and I know it's very well protected. Will let set three days before putting in the shower. Goes on very easily, thin as water. A little goes a very long way. Only used up about 1/8 of the bottle after three applications, so this stuff should last for many years!

Did a beautiful job. Just apply with a rag. Seems to be holding up nicely after two months.

I purchased a teak shower bench from Aqua Teak and before assembling it I treated all of the wood pieces with their teak oil. It may not have been necessary to do this but I'm glad I did as the teak oil smells wonderful and water is beading up and rolling off the wood nicely and it looks fantastic. Its comforting to know I have done everything I can to preserve and protect my beautiful shower bench so it will give me many years of enjoyment.

I use this on my indoor and outdoor teak as well as on a teak shower stool. It’s very easy to use; wipe on, wipe off. It does have an odour, but all teak oil does. The smell disappeared in a few hours and the wood looks refreshed.

Lighter weight than most teak oils I've used. Good, light coverage and absorption. Hasn't altered colour significantly. I would buy again.
