I am glad I purchased this item. It is easy to use with the iPad. Please make sure your iPad is compatible for this item. It is quick to put together and my children love playing with it and do not even realize they are coding. The quality of the game is excellent there is no glitches. It is a reasonable priced for the amount of games you have access to. It is easy to store. I often travel with this to occupy the children's time and they never get bored.

A great learning interactive activity for children purchase for my 4 yrs old grandson

This worked great with my kid's 7th Generation Fire HD 10"! Had no issues installing the app, or getting it to read the pieces. She's 8 and loved it, even the simpler game. I think she did gain some interest in coding while playing, but mostly because both of her parents code. She wants to move on to learning scratch next, and then some easy python stuff. What would be really cool is if they had an Osmo app that taught the troubleshooting side of tech too! Update: a few months later and after becoming completely obsessed with osmo coding jam my daughter's now declared that osmo coding is for little kids and moved onto making scratch games! She always looked at scratch as something that was over her head, so I consider it a huge improvement.. even if she has actually lost interest in osmo for now. This was a great first step into coding!

My child loves this!

The product page clearly states that the kit is compatible with iPhone models including iPhone 14. However, when I attempted to set it up using my iPhone 14, the system immediately instructed me to continue the setup using an iPad instead, which contradicts the advertised compatibility with iPhone. Because of this, I purchased a new iPad (latest model) specifically so the child could use the game. After installing the Osmo app and downloading the games, the application displays the following message: “This game does not officially support this iPad model.” So in practice: • The product cannot be set up using the iPhone, despite being advertised as compatible. • The product does not work on the newest iPad model either. The product is unusable because there is no compatible device available despite what the product page states. As a result, the child who received this game has not been able to use it at all. I also attempted to contact Osmo support, but I have not received any response. Unfortunately I am currently located in Argentina, so returning the product is not feasible, especially since it had to be opened in order to attempt installation. Given that the product does not function as described on the Amazon listing, I kindly request your assistance with a refund or another resolution. I am attaching screenshots showing the compatibility information and the error messages.

I saw my grandson using this product in his STEAM class at school and he loved it. As the description says it does not work on newer phones which is sad and for me it would be difficult to get my phone case off every time he wanted to use it. The price was great. I hope some updates can be made because I would love to repurchase it for him.

My daughter has this in her after school program. So much so I bought it for home. Great way to make screen time educational. I did not rlcheck comparability with the 10th Gen iPad. It is not compatible, but if you put a pencil under the red reflector it will work! I'm looking forward to checking out more of their games with my kids.

I got this for a 5 year old that is highly interested in tinkering/building big Lego sets, and generally quite interested in science. He does have a good attention span for a 5 year old, which I think always helps with this sort of toy. Now, as for the toy, as usual with Osmo the toy pieces intended for the kid to manipulate are very high quality, so the only issue is keeping one from getting lost. As for the games...I was an engineering major in college, and had no intro to coding before I "had" to take the course and learn it. I actually think it's a great idea to expose kids who are into science early, and there aren't too many ways to do it. The kid I bought this for had just had his STEM coding summer camp cancelled due to COVID. I really appreciate the goal of this product.

Son has loved his Osmo for the past couple years! I love that you can continue to add learning programs tailored to their age as they grow!
