I’ve been using Airlock indicators for a while now. They may not land on the water delicately, but these are for scenarios in which you don’t need a whole lot of subtlety. If I need subtlety, I’ll run a dry-dropper. Anyhow, the grip strength and easy adjustability of these indicators has made them a staple in my vest. My only complaint is that they are so often available only in these three-color packs. I’m color deficient and I have a really hard time seeing pink/red indicator on the water, but I’m forced to buy them anyway at a 1-in-3 ratio. Pretty annoying. That said, the design is one that I’ve come to appreciate enough that I can overlook this annoyance (even if I get very irritated when I’m out on the water and realize that all I have left is a couple of the dang pink ones).

I have experimented with a half dozen indicator styles including oros and New Zealand wool. If I’m not dealing with super skittish fish (eg I’m on a stocked stream) this is my go to indicator. Better buoyancy than oros for the size which is great for heavier nymph set ups.

These are easy and quick to install and move. They hold their position. A bonus is that if you drop one in a river and it floats away you know that at some point in time they will dissolve and not pollute the river.

They work fine, but the price is ridiculous given its only styrofoam balls.

Worked out great for my first time using them. Really nice and easy to use. No line kinks and you can move the location of the bobber anytime anywhere on your line without having to re tie.

Picture shows mixed sizes of 6 indicators and description is for a 3 pack. Only 3 in packet, not the size I wanted and total cost of £18 means that each one cost £6 pounds. I don’t think that is good value so they are going back.
