You won't be disappointed
I've had the (grey) Nord for a couple of weeks now, having previously owned Samsungs for about 10 years. My previous phone was the excellent Samsung Note 8. I actually intended to buy a Pixel 4a but the Nord happened to be beside it in the shop so I had a play with both phones. Within five minutes I had changed my mind and came home and ordered the Nord from Amazon (I didn't need the £10 sim the shop insisted I buy). The Nord is a great phone. Samsung S series quality, without the price. I really don't understand the negative comments about the phone from some people. The build quality is as good as any phone, flagship or otherwise. The screen is superb. The fast refresh rate makes my old Note 8 (which has an 8 series processor) feel sluggish. The battery lasts all day, unless you've got phone issues (I'm getting 10 hours screen on time). The Warp charging is amazing (70% in 30 minutes - so fast that I can't shower and dress with it on charge because I try not to fully charge it every day). The wifi connects in places that no previous phone every worked. The operating system is fast and intuitive. It takes two sim cards if and when we can every travel again (or you want personal and business numbers in the same handset). You can customise it to death. It plays games well. Telephone calls are crystal clear. My Samsung Buds work better with it than they ever did with my Samsung Note. What's not to like? It's a steal at the price. 5/5

Top notch phone
Coming from a damaged Samsung note 10 plus 5g I had to get repaired I bought this as temporary phone. But saying that this phone is top notch, price of this phone is just a big bonus the camera is very good it's not as good as my samsung but it's not that far of it's a shame you can't switch between the ultra wide and normal camera when video recording, the other grumble I have is the Bluetooth from phone to my car cuts off and I have to click on the connection to get it to work again, also my ring doorbell doesn't send notifications from my. Phone to my Fitbit which isn't great but not bad considering the price, battery life is really good getting 4/5 sometimes more screen on time, phone call quality is great. The face unlock and finger print sensor is very good the face unlock is lightning fast much better than my note 10 plus 5g, The 90hz refresh rate is also amazing coming from my note 10 plus 5g , I'm actually going to selly note 10 now and stick with the one plus nord as I like it so much and can't stand 60hz now

iPhone Killer - keep your money in your pocket
Look, if you can see through the Apple hype you will know that a solid £600 (at least) of every iPhone is hot air and perception. Sure iPhone is a perfectly good phone - but it's over priced and that really the end of it. If you don't worship at the cult of Apple, you can pick up an Android bargain and save yourself a fortune. This phone leaves me hard pushed to contemplate what on earth Apple could offer me that would persuade me to part with another £600-£900. Don't be silly - look at the spec sheet - this phone is fast, reliable, charges quickly, has a great battery life, beautiful screen, tons of storage - SD card compatible (thank you iPhone) - USB C compatible, comes with the fast charger in the box and it sets up in minutes. Great camera too. My money means something to me, so I'm not going to throw it away. This is a really good phone. Bargain.

A few bugs but a good phone for the price
Almost 1 year in to Nord ownership and it's been "okay". Just okay really, nothing mind blowing but then what phone really offers mind blowing these days.. For the most part the phone has been good, it's been reliable. The Dual Sim works great, the camera is good, battery life is great. Mine lives in a Spigen case and it's survived a few drops. Software wise has mostly been good. Android 11 has seen a few annoying bugs, such as Android Auto sometimes taking minutes to connect to the car. WiFi tends to turn itself off when the phone is locked. Notifications have been a little flaky too but this seems better than it was. However at the moment I have no plans to replace the phone as I can live with its little issues, it'll likely last me until at least 2 years of ownership before I look for something else (2 years is my rough replacement schedule either way).

Good Price point with the essentials done right!
Things I wanted for my next phone were: - Good Camera - Good Battery - Fair Screen for watching the odd YouTube vid on. Coming from the Galaxy S9 to this phone, it certainly delivers all this and more. The Battery is huge 4100mAh with my daily use can easily get a good Day & half out of it. Probably two days if i wasn't using it every 5 minutes. The Battery charges so fast i barely even remember the last time i charged the thing, 10 / 15 minutes its good for the day. The camera was good, recent software update from OnePlus polished the camera quality a huge bit. I've side loaded Gcam (Google Camera) software which makes the camera great. Its fast, snappy and responsive. The entire experience OnePlus delivers on this phone is superior. I think far superior to Samsung devices. Its the subtle tweaks / enhancements they make to the native google experience which make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. 10/10 will recommend to anybody in 2020. I'll never go back to a Samsung device for aslong as they keep shipping the rubbish Exynos chips to EU customers. SnapDragon is and will always be King.

Great phone well worth the money
I needed to upgrade a 4 year old phone that was getting a bit sluggish and was limited on storage space. I looked around and either found cheap or very expensive phones. When I can across this phone it ticked all the right boxes in terms of memory, storage, processing power, battery etc. Read the reviews and decided to take a chance. Turned out to be a great buy. The phone is well made, the hardware may not be top of the range but it does a fantastic job especially moving footage from my GoPro which use to take hours on my old phone and not much time at all on this phone. The face recognition is on par with other top brands. It's the right size for me, I can use with one hand if needed. Battery life is amazing, a day and a half without needing a charge, longer if I'm not listening to music or watching videos. It came with a nice case and a super charger that gets the phone from flat to 100% in 30-45 minutes. Great phone, packed with features and well worth the money

Good phone let down by aggressive power management and poor tech support
Bought the phone on the basis of several good reviews on tech websites. I particularly wanted 5G and I don’t need a 6.7” screen and the additional bulk that goes with it. This is one of the few current phones that comes in a more manageable size. Although it’s a bit longer than the Samsung S9 it replaced, it’s not that much wider. The screen is great, scrolls smoothly and works well for video. I don’t use the phone for games, don’t take many pictures with it but the camera has plenty of features (including a macro lens) and is easy to use. Works quickly when using navigation (Sygic) in the car. Battery life is very good – comfortably over a day. I was using the phone as a hotspot for a couple of hours which would have hammered the battery on my Samsung, on the OP it dropped by about 10%. There’s no SD card slot, only dual SIM and I went with 256GB as a result. Phone's supplied with a case and a well-applied film screen protector. I replaced both – the case only on aesthetic grounds but I went with a glass screen protector because the film one had a couple of nicks in it and would look tatty quickly. Why only 3*? Although OP’s Oxygen OS is very clean and easy to use, I’ve had a couple of issues with it. First, it has very aggressive background power management and continually shut down the route tracking function in MapMyRun, which I use for fitness tracking. This seems to be a known issue with several fitness trackers going back 2-3 years. I have managed to get both Strava and adidas fitness tracker apps working OK, but this has forced me to drop MMR, which I’d used for years. To be clear, I’m only a social runner, tracking time, distance and pace which is something most trackers do. But, if you are using an app (tracker or other) that needs to run in background a lot, I’d check posts about OP on your app forums and your app on OP forums before buying. Second issue a bug with direct dial contact widgets, which I use regularly. These widgets disappear without warning from the phone screen. Another check in the forums show this is a known problem. However, contact OP online support – which is superficial and just sticks to the script – and their suggestion is a factory reset and rebuild. If that doesn’t work, they will look at another solution. When it’s a known problem, the correct answer is to give the customer the known solution. Not follow a script and offer a generic fix, that ends the chat quickly for them and then leaves the customer to rebuild the phone, with no guarantee that it fixes the problem.

Game Changing Phone for the price!
I have a long story grab yo snacks and wear your glasses. One word to describe this phone “Game changing”! Last year i got a huawei p40 on contract because the camera and features look amazing but a huge factor I didn’t take into account was having no Google services on the OS. With apps being limited the cons weight out the pros and so enough was enough and I sold it on eBay. I then bought a Samsung a21 just so I could have Google services again and for that the phone felt better alone but the camera wasn’t anything exciting. I decided it was time to look into getting a better phone, so I did my home work and found this phone. Just for curiosity I compared the specs to the p40 pro and it turns out this is better minus 2mp on the main lens but who cares right xD This phone has changed my life with how fast it is the screen is fresh and very responsive. I’m a huge Pokémon go fan so to be able to go to areas where signal is weak is amazing because of this phone the games run so fluently and the graphics are crisp! The charging is so so fast for me my phone will charge fully in about 40 minutes tops! This is the phone I should of got last year and I regret not finding it sooner but I cant believe the price for what it offers its incredible. No complains from me at all I love the phone customisation and honestly think I’ve found my brand I’m gonna stick with for a long time!! Thank you OnePlus
