Russian gat badge pin
This hat badge is of good quality and very sturdy. Really works great for a military look. Highly recommend

Looks great but be advised.
Looks great, but back is not a sharpened pin. It is a flat-ended screw for the back. Makes it a little tricky to use on a lapel or hat unless you want to put a visible hole in it.

This Would Pass for Original at Checkpoint Charlie!
This is well made. Probably better than the originals. Put one on your ushanka and people will think you are a Big Shot! Das Vidania Comrades!

Small badge
Great stuff. Just don't expect this to be a badge per se. More a cockade, something a bit smaller than a badge and more suitable for a cap, hat or so. No needle, there is a rather thick screw instead. I have it in a guncase for my Makarov just for laughs.

Gift
Used as a gift for someone with an interest in World History. It is very unusual.

Great for ushanka!
Very solid and looks great on my ushanka. Screw wheel holds pin exactly vertical on the front of the hat. Replaced a crappy hammer/sickle pin that was far more cheaply made and just broke off at the pin and never stayed straight anyway.

Great pin
I F’d up and cut the pin off, filed it and and glue a magnet with bar on the back to wear it wherever, but it probably would have been better to keep the screwpin on as it was very strong. But I issued metal clippers to take it off and a pocket file to make to work, still I love wearing it around. Not KGB, sowwy..
