The test is great, the company/lab is very knowledgeable and helpful
I ordered this test due to concerns about mold when my HVAC filter started discoloring too quickly. Based on Amazon reviews and their promised quick turnaround with comprehensive testing, I went with this test kit. The kit was very easy to use, and took minutes including filling out their form. I had questions about additional testing and whether my logic on how/where I collected my 3 samples was correct, so I called them before my results were ready. They took the time to listen to my situation, why I did the test, and what I hoped to get out of it. When I asked if I should buy more kits to take more samples in other locations and other actions, the company rep did the honest thing and told me to wait until the results were complete, at which point they could advise me further. If you're curious, I took 2 samples from my HVAC system: 1st from the actual filter itself, and 2nd from the floor of the main return duct. My 3rd sample was taken from the site of a repaired leak in a shower elsewhere in the house. The reason for my testing is that my 4" HVAC filters are turning nearly black within days of insertion, which is not normal. My running theories include: (1) Mold, (2) Problem with the furnace, (3) Candle Soot. I made a deal with my wife that I would test for mold first before asking her to stop lighting candles for a couple weeks test that theory. At the VERY reasonable cost of this test, including a professional lab that actually picks up the phone to answer customer questions, it was worth doing. Since they only just received my samples, I do not have results yet but was informed to expect them possibly today. I appreciate their quick turnarounds, and intend to update my review once my business with this company is complete. I will say for now, that based on just that 1 phone call I have very high expectations for them. I'm entirely happy with their service so far, and see no reason why it won't continue that way. UPDATE: I received my lab analysis (which was both thorough and informative) and called them to discuss. I spoke once again to their rep/lab guy Aaron. He was equally informative, thorough in answering my questions, and generous with his time and desire to help me. He gave me the advice I was looking for, and not once did he try to rush me away. His time and advice alone was worth more than the price of the kit. Aaron from Mold Inspection Network, you're awesome!

Very Professional, Do-it-Yourself Testing Kit
This is an excellent do-it-yourself mold test kit that includes laboratory analysis. The company is very professional and sends the results in about a week via email. In addition, when the results are emailed, they give you an automated courtesy call at the phone number you provide that indicates that your test results are ready, and to check your email. They are also available via phone and/or email to answer any questions you may have, although I did not need to exercise this option. The test kit includes three slides for samples that you need to individually label, and there is a special "chain of custody" form that must be filled out that identifies you, the work site, and itemizes the samples. The form is very easy to fill out and is just another example of how this company dots the i's and crosses the t's, this is very professionally done. When you take the samples, it is very important to protect yourself, and the documentation sent with the test kit emphasizes this. Although in my case I did not think I had a serious problem, I wanted to do this test just in case to make sure. I have had a leaky bathtub for almost 10 years and I was concerned about several areas under my bathtub in the crawl space above the subfloor. I took every precaution, including gloves, a respirator, and goggles. If you do this yourself, it's worth the extra trouble to make sure you do not get exposed to something. It may seem like too much fuss, but if you think you need to test a mold problem then you must make sure to protect yourself just in case it turns out to really be a problem! Another important thing to understand, you need to interpret the test results yourself and come to your own conclusions. The results include descriptions of many common mold types, and the test includes 14 different mold types and the concentration of each, if any. This is important for liability reasons, the company thoroughly tests the samples you send and indicates for each the concentration and pollen/fragment levels for each, but obviously it is up to you to decide if you really have a problem or not. After all, you took the samples yourself. If you have any doubt at all, hire a professional, but if you can collect samples and read a test report on those samples, this kit is great!
