We added cedar chips to the bottom of our large planters and it’s been helpful keeping the fungus gnats away and also gives the whole room a nice fresh cedar scent!

Received as expected. Nice light scent. Used in a little DIY project - put 1/2 of the bag into each of two burlap wine bags & put 1 each into my boots. Keeps them standing straight and let's them air out with nice lite cedar scent.

So far so good. Aromatic and clean. I will see how long it lasts and whether it works on the insect pests.

First of all, they smell good. I place the chips on top of the soil in my house plants. Helps get bugs and (root gnats) that came in my organic soil?!! They are difficult to get rid of… been using Peppermint & Cedar oil spray from Amazon! Works good on top of chips~

I bought this during Prime Days and thought I was getting a deal, but these are very expensive cedar chips. I wanted to use them for some planting outside, but they would blow away in a minute; so, I'm using them on my indoor potted plants. Still, $25 is expensive for 8 qts of hamster cage chips. I tried to return it, but Amazon wants me to pay $6.99 to send it back! I'm cancelling my membership, just like I "cut the cord." Be well.

I have used these for a number of years to help hold moisture around my clematis. I do find wetting the surface of the chips when they're spread helps hold them in place should wind come along before they settle in.

Goods as advertised

Smells great! To be honest I was skeptical when I first saw it. Yet there it is all 4qts. Plan to mix this in with some red mulch (says it's cedar, but is it cedar?) :) Goin in at the base of a tree with some landscape cloth. Lookforward to the heightend smell from the rain. It is very condensed even in the 4qt pitcher shown. You'd have to see it for yourself.

Not too sure if this is 100% natural. It hasnt no cedarwood smell at all. Looks like ordinary wood shavings with added colouring to make it look like cedarwood. Be warned.. this company likes to take your money BUT doesnt allow/ offer any cancellation once you have placed order !

I have 2 rather small areas outdoors to cover and the 4 I ordered was the perfect amount for me. It smells so fresh and so clean and would be perfect for indoor potting as well. Enjoy!
