LeGout Cream Soup Base, Net Wt. 25.22 Ounce, Pack of 1

I make a lot of soups, my personal favorite is bean soup. You know that creamy ham and bean soup your grandmother made. This takes all the work your grandmother had and reduces it to just 3 things, ham, beans, and this base. Simple and easy for some great soup. The flavor is great. If you have ever been to Seasons restaurant in Williamsburg, Va. proper, this is the base used to make their ham and bean soup. It cost me a nice tip but it was worth every penny, thanks James you are a great waiter.

Soup base good, but something missing that was in the Watkins cream sou base. Havn't figured out what yet, but am working on it,

I used this cream soup base while working in a restaurant years sgo. Very smooth, very creamy and just delicious. If you make the base, you can add any kind of ingredient you like. Cream of asparagus is one of my favorites, but I will use this base to made chicken corn chowder today.

I had a recipe that called for this, had never used it, my broccoli turned out awesome/ nice and creamy and very tasty/ was a hit at the luncheon. would definitely use it again.

Not as good as I remember it to be.

I love this stuff it makes the best creamed soups no lumps very creamy. I have used it to make, potatoe, clam chowder,cream of aspargus, cream of mushroom and cream of tomato and all have been delsih!! Always keep it in my cupboard.

It was exactly what I wanted. Of course you have to measure the amount you want. The whole bag makes too much. It makes a very good cream of broccoli soup. Love the cream base. Can't find it anywhere around where I live.
