Sturdy, would recommend
Very sturdy and variety of sizes! Super glad I got these. I was considering just using an embroidery needle for sashiko, but I credit these with it looking very uniform and nice on my first try. It went through denim like it was nothing, which I know not to be the case with my regular embroidery needle. For those considering this, I would recommend! These needles have the rigidity, length and thickness you need for sashiko.

Perfect
Excellent quality, 2 of each kind. So perfect for sashiko threads and excellent price. I have bought this many times for my students, they all love them

The James Bond of Sashiko Needles
Smooth, strong and sharp--seems like the James Bond of sashiko needles to me! I use a palm thimble when I can for the ergonomic advantage, so a longer needle is a must. But a bendy needle is just tears waiting to happen! All the needles in this pack were strong and not at all flexible, from the shortest (no surprise there) to the longest (very pleasing). The eyes are generous and well smoothed. Whenever I try out a new needle, I use a bit of silk thread to test the eye to make sure it won't be slowly (or not so slowly) eroding my thread. These needles all passed the silk thread test, no snagging at all. The points are very sharp, a great advantage in regulating stitch length. All in all, very nice needles to work with.

Nice needles, bit hard to thread
These are really sturdy needles. My biggest problem is even with the wide eyes threading the needles with Sashiko thread is really difficult. So far I've just altered a dress with the biggest needle and it went through the material super easy.

Love Them
These are my favorite sashiko needles by far. I tried a different brand because the pack included more needles, but almost all of them broke right away. These needles handle thick fabrics beautifully, and I’ve had very few issues with them!

I do a certain style of freehand embroidery that requires slightly thicker yarn and I need a sharp needle a combination I struggle to find the right needles for. These are perfect

SHARP!!!!! NOT BLUNT!!!!! I will always appreciate a good sewing needle, and these are good needles, however I actually wanted BLUNT Sashiko needles to do Kogan Zashi on counted cloth. These are lovely needles but sharp enough that it takes a second to realise that you have stabbed yourself and certainly sharp enough to split the threads of your cloth. I will keep these only because they are good quality needles but it would have been better to receive the correct tool to do the job at hand. Lost stars for poor product description.
