Exactly what I wanted

Perfect for my Christmas decorations. Didn't look/feel cheap

I like these display stands and have ordered 2 more. They are good looking w/ very clean lines so don't distract from the item you are displaying. Very solid and well made. Very good value for the money. However - the description says the 6" stands will work with objects 7 - 15" high. That's true if it's a plate or something solid. But if the item is not rigid (i.e., photo, calendar, paper artwork, etc.), then it will bend backwards as the back of the stand doesn't come up high enough (i.e., a 6" stand with a 14" item means the top 5-6" of the item will be bending backwards). I solved this by cutting foam core board to fit behind my photos. That's OK - I was just expecting otherwise by the description.

I use for displaying of saucers from foreign travels. I bought dish like saucers in Africa with wild animals and enjoy seeing them displayed.
