Easy to fit nice bright light

Philips is a good well recognised and respected brand and this product did not disappoint. Happy with product and quick delivery with no postal cost. I struggled to find this product in a few shops and purchased an unbranded 9W 2 pin product but when I tried the unit the 2 pins didn’t line up with the holes in the lighting unit. Lesson learned, stick with the branded products.

So far working OK, but the bulb rattles when shaken. I'm not sure how long it will last, or whether this is a fault or not. If it's a fault then it's not clear if it was like this when dispatched by the seller, or caused during postage by Royal Mail.

We've been using these energy efficient bulbs in our bathroom for well over a decade. They provide a nice, bright light and last for ages (the one we've just replaced worked for 8 years!) as well as being easy to fit and good value for money. Highly recommended.

This is the first time I am using a Philips brand bulb in my bathroom. This type of bulb is very hard to find on the high street. I have bought several online (all unknown brands) that haven't lasted as long as they are supposed to. Hopefully that will change now I have found the Philips version. Initially I didn't like that I had to buy a minimum two bulbs, but actually having a replacement on hand when the time comes is handy! NOVEMBER 2022 UPDATE: I've just ordered another pack as both the bulbs bought in June 2020 have since died. The average life of this bulb is 14 months, which is seems short to me, hence 3 stars now instead of 4.

I had to replace two of these in my kitchen (since the originals had blown quite close apart) and the current ones are what they call "warm white". I've never liked them so I got these in neutral white (which to me is just white!). I must say the light is much nicer in a kitchen with neutral white compared to the warm white and when cooking I think it makes it easier to see what you're doing. The bulbs fit exactly as expected and they work, so not much to say about them other than that!

Brightness is perfect for wall light. Could be cheaper than in high street shops. Happy with my purchase and hope this bulb will last years like the old one I had.

I received these lamps well before the delivery date however although they fitted in the connectors on the fitting they failed to light or fire up i checked the existing fitting with the lamp that was still working there was nothing wrong with the fitting. the lamps i ordered were the correct wattage and type from what i understand the highier wattage fitting would not fit in the existing anyway and since my field of expertise is a maintenace electician for a local authority i know what i am talking about
