These are very easy to pick up and put down, comfortable in the hand, plus they allow for a thumb and 4 finger grip for more control and strength of cut. We have had a pair of Japanese carbon steel scissors for over 6 years now and they are still as sharp as new. Having a thumb and 2 finger holes made it challenging to put down and pick up those scissors. The ergonomics of these Ascend scissors work so much better for persistent handling it's like night and day. Just be advised: The blades on these scissors are very sharp!

Works perfectly with Dyneema fabrics

Arrived on time and seems to work well on Kevlar. However, I think the product description should clearly state the length of the blades... as they are only 2.75" (versus "advertised" length overall of 8"). I thought the blades were 8" and it would seem an easy fix to make the listing improved.

Love these scissors! Had to sharpen my regular shears after attempting to cut Kevlar. These cut like butter. Well worth the money.

Great for cutting tough fibers of modern ropes. First pair lasted 3 years. Just ordered second pair. :)
