Nespresso Pixie Espresso Machine by De'Longhi, 1100ml, Aluminum,Silver

I accidentally ordered this espresso machine and now I love it. It is my go to coffee source in the mornings. Pods are expensive, but they all are.

I've had it now for little over 2 years. My husband uses it all the time. It works really well and makes great coffee. It might have problem with some off brands, or refillable pods with dripping, but if you use any of the name brand pods, the coffee is perfect every time. We get whatever is on sale. Amazon has good name brands and grocery stores have Lavazza, Llave, Pete's, even Starbucks (which I personally don't like). Yes, there is some dripping in the drip tray, but isn't that why it's there? I haven't found it to be an issue where I have to empty it frequently. Not if you use the right pods. I usually empty the drip tray when the used pods container gets full. I empty both at the same time. Again, this thing has been used daily for over a year and frequently for a total of 2 years and it works great every time and the coffee is perfect with the perfect amount of Crema. No complaints here whatsoever. In fact, I recommend it to all my friends and family. I had friends that had it now going over 7 years and they never had any issues with it. Which is the reason why I bought this model. I did add the extended warranty from Amazon, but it's going to run out in a few months and I never needed to use it.

I love my Nespresso Pixie Espresso Machine! I think this is the best thing I could have bought for my kitchen. It's so important to me to get a good cup of coffee every time and this machine does that for me and in less than 3 minutes! Amazing.

Machine received did not match the picture (or my previous Pixie order). It also arrived late. Though the coffee tastes great, I have issues with the design, particularly the cup size selectors at the top. Previously the buttons lit up, now the light indicator is below the selection; not my preference when the machine is in a darker area. ******* Update: after using this model a few more times, I appreciate it's rapid heading and quieter brewing. Though the a The side panels and drip tray is also not as expected (side panels not textured and black drip tray vs. chrome). It does seem somewhat quieter than my first model. ———— Update: after a couple of months using this machine, I have to say I’d now give it 5-stars. The look was different than expected, but it’s faster and seems to be a little quieter than the previous model.

Wonderful machine with one issue. The Amazon listing promised “a complimentary starter set of Nespresso Original nespresso capsules.” None were included and two complaints through Amazon got no response. Still, the coffee is delicious!

I’m going to give it a big ol’ 5. It’s replacing a similar model that my daughter gave me a long time ago. The first one that was sent was a total flunk. It came in a battered box,📦, no padding, only a set of instructions. It leaked like crazy when I tried to use it. I finally gave up and sent it back. The next one came in the original box with padding and warranty, and instructions. This left me with the impression that the first one was a rejected item. This replacement works as expected. But I am a bit perturbed that I was sent such a terrible item in the first place. I hadn’t asked for a used or damaged item and at this price point a pretty C. S. Way to get rid of defective items. The replacement so far works well. But it doesn’t get me back the travel time or the time I spent online getting the shipping code and all the other things I had to do in order to receive the item I had purchased in the first place.

It’s not a good purchase. It only lasted me one year and three months. The quality of these machines keeps getting worse — it’s a shame. The coffee is very good, but the machines are no good. Since I started using the capsules, this would be my 4th machine, and they get more expensive every time. I see that they promote the Vertuo a lot. Is it because they don’t sell enough and want to push the Vertuo? I’ve always used the Original. I think I’m going back to traditional coffee. Goodbye, Nespresso.

This little thing is a big hit in my house. It's such a convenient thing that now lives next to our coffee maker. I didn't realize until I got it that these original style Nespresso machines can use compatible pods from a wide variety of coffee purveyors, not just Nespresso's own ones. We're currently enjoying some Peet's intense pods. This Pixie makes 1.4oz single shots (the amount I always called a double-shot) or 3.4oz Lungos, and you can reset the single button's cup size if you want a true single shot (ristretto 0.7oz). The included sample pods taste good. Now with a milk frother/heater (I didn't need the Aeroccino), morning latte, or cappuccinos are so unbelievably easy. Now espresso is not just for the weekends around my house! Why the DeLonghi model and not the Breville one? We've had a DeLonghi manual espresso machine for some decades now that continues to do such a good job, so I wanted to stick with a brand I know. The bottom line is that I might be the last person on the planet to get a Nespresso machine, but now I love the convenience of the concept and got exactly what I wanted with this DeLonghi Pixie. I guess I should also say the quality of Nespresso pods is also good. I really didn't like many Keurig pods. Usage tip: After you place the water in the tank upon the unit, try not to move it, else it will leak a little bit. If you don't move it, it won't leak. However, in the front, it will drip a little bit, so be sure to dump out the drip catcher every day of usage.

Recently bought this coffee machine. Great service from seller as the machine got delivered in 24hrs. The packaging is good and the 14 complimentary pods were all there. We have been using the machine for the last 10 days and have been very satisfied. The build quality is exceptional and the machine is quite compact. Coffee is ready in 30 secs and super convenient to use. The complimentary pods came in very handy. Overall, highly recommended.
