Periogen Toothpaste - SLS Free - Plaque & Tartar Control Formula 2-Pack

This is really good toothpaste. It's all I use and I buy it as gifts for friends and family. A little expensive, but worth it. The taste and texture are different from the name brands, and that's ok since as soon as you use it, you realize how over-flavored name brands are. This has a mild taste, no foam, no sting to it and gets your teeth really clean.

Works well for tartar control and good taste

It says bold mint flavor but to me the flavor is not that strong, kinda weak.

This toothpaste has made a huge difference for me along with the mouthwash. My Dental Hygienist got me hooked on it. I love how it doesn't leave a strong taste after brushing and the mouthwash same it's like rinsing your mouth out with peroxide. It takes away bad breath and cleans your teeth exactly how it should.

I am very happy I found this product. I had plaque build up, in a are of my lower teeth, and after a week of using the toothpaste it was gone, gone. I could not believe it. I even recommended it to a friend. Because I saw it works. This will be my toothpaste,as long as the product is available.

It’s a bit off-putting at first but works well with Seabond adhesives. I leave this on the dentures for about a week and I can still soak them overnight each day. It doesn’t come loose in water or the dental cleanse solution. I replace the adhesives every night. Worth the cost!

I was told by my dentist that I needed a deep cleaning due to pockets being 5 and 6 on some of my teeth and that I had periodontist. I started using this tooth paste along with Periogen oral rinse and after a year of not having my teeth cleaned due to COVID I went to the Dentist and was told I didn't need a deep cleaning just a regular cleaning which I was elated to hear and that I had a mild case of gingivitis not periodontist. Even though I have been brushing at night, which I didn't use to do every night I still believe the decrease in my pockets and the need for only a regular cleaning instead of deep cleaning is due to this product. I've tried different products that didn't work so I'm glad to have found this product there is nothing like a healthy mouth , also my gums use to bleed a lot, now I have minimal to no bleeding even when I got my cleaning the hygienist said it was good that I had no bleeding gums which normally they would bleed bad during a cleaning. A deep cleaning isn't covered under my dental insurance, so this product not only reduced the plaque build up and bleeding gums but it saved me money because a regular cleaning is free of charge thru my insurance :)

Really, I cannot tell any difference between this expensive toothpaste and the usual commercial cheaper pastes. I would love to give it a more positive review since this would mean it worked great, but I am experiencing no outstanding or exceptional results from this high-priced toothpaste. I do not plan to purchase this product, again.

I just got this toothpaste 3 days ago and I’ve used it and it doesn’t foam. I’m finding I’m using a bit more to really clean my teeth but after using it for that amount of time, I’ve noticed that the tarter is coming off as I use it. I’m really impressed and I will continue to use it as it’s very helpful in removing the tarter on the teeth.

Good flavour. Teeth felt clean.

This fluoride free tartar control toothpaste is amazing. I had a brown stain on a molar which wasn't a cavity. Within days of using this product along with my Phillips electronic tooth brush; it was gone. Even the dental hygienist was not able to remove the stain.

This is a recent purchase and will have to update at a later date. The toothpaste itself is similar to regular toothpaste without SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate ) which is a harsh foaming element. I regularly use Tooth Soap which is organic Olive Oil and organic coconut oil combined and this cleans well also but wanted to try this our for tartar control using twice daily.
