Absolutely works, very easy to use and cuts paper very simply.Having bought an cheap imitation version last year and ended up throwing it out,this is a joy to use.

You almost feel like an alchemist transforming ordinary paper into gilded sheets of festive exuberance. But then—a snag. The next cut isn't so harmonious, veering off into an unintended detour. Consistency, you see, is where our little elf fumbles the eggnog. One moment you're Michelangelo chiselling at David, the next, you're a toddler haphazardly applying Crayola to the dining room wall. Hence, four stars it must be. For when the Little ELF sings, it hits notes of celestial beauty, but alas, it's prone to the occasional discordant yelp. A mostly majestic tool with room for refinement, it's like a chorus that's one alto shy of perfection.

Had high hopes for this with the Christmas present wrapping this year, but have to say they are hit and miss as to whether they cut or rip the paper. I think to get the full use from the cutter you really need to use much thicker paper, rather than the cheaper thinner paper, but like most people we use a mixture of different types of paper, so we end up using standard scissors more than the cutters themselves. But on a positive note, when they do cut the paper it's a really easy process and leave a lovely clean and straight line. I'll keep the scissors handy though.

The pros: There are two in a box. The cutter is sharp and cuts wrapping paper in a straight line. The cons: They are right handed (I'm not) and thus inconvenient. They are a set size so larger rolls can not be cut. They only cut off the roll - i.e in a vertical direction. Scissors are still required.

Makes wrapping fast by the can be tricky to glide In a straight line, bay become easier with more use over time.

Does well with thick wrapping paper but is useless with thinner paper

One of the worst products on the market a complete and utter waste of money.

I love this! However, only one of the 2 in the pack worked. The faulty one had a blunt blade, and it couldn’t cut through paper
