I purchased the Elgato Wave:3 (White) for my daughter as a Christmas gift, and it has been an absolute home run. The very first time she logged into a game after setting it up, her friends immediately stopped mid-conversation to ask, “What microphone are you using?” That alone says everything. The voice clarity is outstanding — clean, rich, and studio-level crisp. Compared to her previous USB microphone, the difference isn’t subtle at all. Background noise is dramatically reduced, her voice cuts through perfectly, and every word sounds natural and professional without any tinkering or complicated setup. The build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Elgato: solid, premium, and thoughtfully designed. Paired with her other Elgato gear, it elevates her entire streaming and gaming setup to a truly next-level experience. The Wave Link software is powerful yet intuitive, giving her full control over audio without frustration. Most importantly, she absolutely loves it — and when your mic becomes a conversation starter in every lobby, you know it’s doing something right. This is a phenomenal upgrade for anyone serious about streaming, gaming, or online communication. 5 stars without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Pros: - Mute button is nice. I was looking for a mic with a mute button, for when people enter my room unexpectedly while I'm talking to friends online. It works great. - Sounds great, even from a couple feet away and at a slight angle. I am not interested in keeping my mouth directly on a microphone, so I looked for one that was good at a slight distance. It also has a built in feature that removes sharp sibilant sounds, like "S" and "T". I haven't tested this feature extensively, but it seems to work well - no pop filter necessary. - Nice and thin, easy to keep on a desk. - USB-C, much better than the micro USB on my Blue Yeti Nano. The port on my Yeti Nano broke, which is why I had to buy a new mic in the first place. - Looks pretty, though that's subjective. I like the aesthetics quite a bit, looks modern and sleek. Cons - It's a bit pricey. I don't regret buying it at this price, but I wouldn't say it's a super competitive price either. Easier to justify for a livestreamer, less easy to justify just for Discord or Zoom. - Kinda tall. If I have it in front of me it blocks my view of my screen. However, I'm comparing it to my Yeti Nano, which is a particularly small mic. It's probably no taller than a full sized Blue Yeti or other similar mics. I keep it off to the side a bit which solves this issue, and it still sounds fine. Conclusion: I am happy with my purchase. It's a very welcome upgrade from my Blue Yeti Nano. You could probably find a better bang-for-your-buck mic, especially if you don't care about the features I do (size, mute button, USB-C). But if this mic lasts for years like my old mic did, then it will certainly have been worth the money.

High quality sound and easy to plug in. Clean black look and a tap to mute function thats super handy. Very portable with long cord length. Very durable!

The build quality is excellent and the mic has a nice heavy weight that keeps it stable on the desk. The size is compact, so it fits cleanly in a tight streaming setup. Setup was quick and simple and Wave Link gives full control of inputs and app volumes. Clarity is outstanding with a natural tone and a very low noise level, and the mute button works silently. Overall quality feels professional and the free Wave Link software is the edge that puts this mic ahead of other USB mics.

This mic is awesome! Build quality, the feel, functionality, the weight, everything! And the cherry on top is the wave link software, it makes the mic sound so good! It’s really easy to set up and use, and there’s a lot of customization and tinkering you can do with this mic. 100% would buy again!

This usb microphone came highly recommended from the streaming community and from many of my gaming friends online. And let me say, the recommendations were all correct. First, and arguably most important, the mic is VERY much worth the price in it's own right. As a usb condencer, it's not going to be the best quality, but for the price it sounds awesome right out of the box. Simple physical setup, just plug in the usb cord, and away you go. After some tuning in OBS, this thing is smoooooth. The real value, and pain, is in the wave software. I unfortunately found an audio bug when first installing and had to reinstall the software to get a perminent loop out of the feed. Once working correctly, I needed to go through at least a couple hours of setup to sort all my sound outputs (games, music, browser, discord, etc) and configure OBS. I'm pretty technical myself, so when I say it took awhile to wrap my head around the process... Yeah... But! The end product is totally worth it, as I have much better control over sound vs the alternatives and the recordings sound awesome! As a tip: I did opt to split the direct mic feed from the stream within OBS. I have Mic1 as my actual wave 3 mic and Mic2 as the wave stream. This allowed me to do some fine turning within OBS on my voice without influencing game sound. Again, more setup, more time, more Alpha Gaming youtube videos to watch. Overall, I've invested 3-4 solid hours into just initial setup and getting familiar with the basics of this mic. I will probably spend more time messing around and tweaking options. That being said, I am very happy with the product and look forward to improvements on the software side. The software actually makes it easier in the long run, so the initial investment in time is 100% worth the effort. Also, get a mic boom arm. This microphone loves being close close close to your face.

Top Audio Qualität, Kopfhörer Anschluss ist auch praktisch, Mute Button per Touch auf der Oberseite und Lautstärkeregler für Mikrophon, Kopfhörer und "Self hearing". Ich bin kein Streamer und nutzte es für Discord Telefonate. Es funktioniert auch auf Linux, nur eben ohne Elgato Software.

Dose the job the sound is really good and you can configure the mice with Elgato Wave Link to install mods like noise cancellation you can watch the videos on YouTube.

I got a product with damaged packaging, strange dots on the mic, and black powder inside the box. Seems like it was used before.
