Received the item in a previously opened box. No documentation. The device was not secure in the "slot" inside the box, but flopping around loose. It appears to be a used device. For almost 200.00 I am very much disappointed. I'm very apprehensive about plugging this thing into my system. Update : I took the chance and plugged the device into my 2017 Chevy Silverado. Thus far it is working as advertised. As a matter of fact, it appears that my gas mileage is actually better than what is was using the stock flex technology V8/V4. Running as a V8 consistently (which is what I want) has worked out better than what I expected, and the issue or "possibility" of the lifters sticking over time with the garbage flex technology is not a concern any longer. So I bumped up to 4 stars. The opened box and no documentation is still an unacceptable problem and I would hope that the seller will address it.

It does what they claim. My 2024 Sierra Denali Ultimate 6.2 now feels like it’s delivering the power smoothly. I took a 120 mile highway trip and got almost 25mpg according to the computer, so any impact to fuel mileage is negligible. Fuel economy based on 0w40 oil and Exon ultimate premium gas. However, it does not disable the auto stop feature that shuts your engine off at stoplights. Other brands will do that, but they also can’t claim it is invisible to diagnostics when removed like this one does. So, I just have to remember to press the auto stop defeat switch.

This is my 4 GM truck (18 Escalade) with the AFM & although I haven't had any lifter issues (knock on wood) yet. I have noticed a power lag across the 4 trucks, witch is why I decided to get this disabler for this truck. So far I've noticed that V8 420hp's back full time with avengeance. This is well worth the money considering the potential issues & money a failed lifter can coast.

I am in Australia. Ordered through Amazon. I read as many reviews I could find. Used in the Chev 1500 Silverado for a week or so and found it to be as advertised. Can't fault it at this time.
