How big are these tablets? Are they coated and super slick, or rough?

They are a good size but they are easy to break in half. I always break this in half because it makes it easier to swallow and I like to think it helps in the digestion. The tablets are smooth. Does this product help with hair thinning after stress and weight loss? Please elaborate.

What is the difference between this product and biotin?
