Is there an incline that helps the water move toward the drain?

There is a movable drain spout (side to side) that drains into the sink. I put a small block of wood (I'm sure you could use anything that lifts up the back of the rack slightly to accomplish the same effect). I really like this drainer because it adjustable lengthwise. I just use my sink sprayer to occasionally clean the rack (or put in the dishwasher for extra cleaning if necessary). I've been very happy with this product.

Since so many people say it leaks, is there a Joseph Joseph black plastic drainboard that can fit under this?

Same. Leaked. Such a shame because otherwise it’s great.

How do you replace the spout securely? My housekeeper removed mine to clean it, and now it falls off each time I try to turn it.

I have had this product for several years & the spout continues to fall off frequently. I have to constantly attach it by fitting it into the groves & turning it until it is secure. It will hold for a short time, but then falls off again with the slightest movement & the water drains in the counter. I find it very frustrating & am thinking about getting a different brand.
