This set of pliers comes with a great variety, including some pliers which are difficult to buy individually (the looping pliers in particular). The pliers are well-machined and the points align. The pliers have smooth plastic coated handles. As might be expected from so many pliers in a single set, the pliers are on the small side. Rather than sacrificing the size of the working end of the pliers, the handles tend to be shortened instead. People with large hands may find it uncomfortable to operate these pliers. As a woman of average sized hands, I find the pliers serviceable but not the most comfortable. However, all this can be overlooked. You're getting a great variety of specialty pliers-- not just the standard "beginner's set". The pliers come pre-oiled and those with cutting edges are quite sharp. I bought this assortment mainly for the bail making pliers and nylon pliers. The round nose pliers, bent nose pliers, and end nippers will no doubt see a lot of utilitarian use as well. The crimping pliers don't look like they would be very effective compared with other dedicated crimping pliers due to the size of the indentations, but this may depend a lot on the size of your crimp. The only downsides of this set are the somewhat smaller size and un-texturized handles. The variety of pliers is fantastic. A lot of specialty pliers are included here, and this is the next step up from a beginner's assortment. You get a lot of pliers without breaking the bank. I have nothing bad to say about the quality of the pliers. They've help up well. This pack is a great buy for someone looking to move beyond just the basics or someone who wants an extra set of more exotic pliers for when they don't want to use their expensive pair. I wholeheartedly recommend this set of pliers without hesitation.

This set is good for very beginning basic jewelry making. I bought this set back around February or March 2022. I've had to replace several pieces. Today I replaced the round nose pliers because the piece that makes them spring back will not stay where it's supposed to and I can't take it hurting my hand anymore. The wire straightening pliers are not nylon. They are plastic. The flush cutters are not very strong. You get what you pay for with this set. These are not quality tools. You will need to upgrade but if you are looking for a cheap way to start out, these do work. I'm not mad I bought them. Just aggravated my hand hurts.

Just what I I needed as I begin my experimental journey with jewelry making. Not too fancy and expensive. Easy to handle and seems well made.

As a beginner beader, I wanted to get a good selection of the basic pliers needed and this set filled the bill. I have had them a little less than two years, but they are still very low mileage. I ran into a problem with the crimpers the first time I tried to use them- they just wouldn't crimp. It appears the little "tooth" that is supposed to create the first crimp was not long enough to do the trick. I replaced them with a nice pair of crimpers and the problem was solved. I have begun to run into problems with the round nose pliers twisting while I am trying to make small simple loops. I haven't had that problem before. I am not sure if it is the pliers, the head pins I am using or my technique. If you are a beginner, and you are not sure you will like making jewelry, these are an ok choice. However, there is an element of "you get what you pay for" and as you go along, you may find yourself needing to replace individual items.

Nice weighty set, quality feel actually with soft grips & good strong ends. The nippers take some getting used to but everything works as it should & I'm very happy with it.
