You won't be sorry!
With WoW Shadowlands just on the horizon and the recommendation of utilizing solid state storage for the game, I decided to order this SSD to see just how much my gaming could improve (I game on an HP Pavilion Gaming Edition desktop with 1tb 7200 RPM HDD). I have used Micro SDs by this brand in the past and this SSD was def not a disappointment! Comes with Type-C converter (so do not buy a Type-C to Type-C cord like I did. The converter they supply will plug right onto the USB 3.1 end of the cord so you can utilize a Type-C port for data transfer). A leatherette sleeve is also included and works wonderfully - the drive fits nice and snug inside of it! Arrived on time and as described! For such an amazing value, you can't beat it! It gets a smidge warm when using it to game, but doesn't get too hot (do not keep it in the case when in use. It is aluminum and this will cause extra heat). Transferring files was FAST! WoW is currently over 62 GB and it transfered the entire slew of files for that, my add-ons, and WoW Classic in less than 10 mins! I highly recommend NeTac for all of your electronic storage needs. They sport a great value with quality products. 5 well earned stars!

Using as boot drive for rPi4
Really a nice drive, the metal case helps dissipate heat, but it barley get warm to the touch. It has 2 small blue led's that blink with activity (very small). I've tested against SanDisk Pro 500MB disk and this tested faster in every test. It not quite as fast as Samsung 500Mb or 1Tb drives, but within 5-10% on writes and 5% on reads. And it's much smaller and seems to be more durable. Tested on HP x360 with USB-C and USB-A connections; USB-C is faster but not by a huge about, especially random activity. in bursts USB-C is always faster. But I primarily bought to try the new rPi USB boot for rPi4, after updating eeprom boot to version dated 2020-06-15; and it worked with no issues, now my rPi has no micro SDcard - VERY happy with it. Wanted smallest possibly drive, and this fits the bill, will buy 2 more and convert more rPi's to this faster more reliable drive. For the price (250mb & 500mb) this is the best priced/performance you can buy (the 1Tb could be a little less expensive).

Reliability Issues
The Netac External 250 GB EXFAT SSD seemed solid at first. After two and a half months of use, my Tesla could no longer read any data on it. Testing the SSD in a Windows PC, the files were there, but corrupt. The strangest occurrence of all, one of which I haven't seen before, is no tool I've used so far will delete the corrupt files or reformat the drive. I used Windows standard drive formatter, Windows diskpart, CCleaner Drive Wiper, and Minitool Partition Wizard. All failed to remove a single file on the SSD. Each time I seemingly wipe the drive, disconnect and reconnect the drive to my PC, all of the files are still present. Check disk repair also fails. Windows Event Viewer reports multiple disk errors. The seller proposed I pay shipping to send them the defective drive (with my personal files on them) and they will send a replacement. I elected not to because I don't want to spend another $15 to ship the SSD. Update 5/15/2022: Netac agreed to send a replacement SSD. Thanks!

FAST AF BOIIIIIII
WOW it's fast. 3GB in like 5 seconds. Crazy. You have to make sure the port you're using can support USB 3.2 gen 2, but if it does... WOW it's fast. I remember it taking an entire 10 minutes transferring the Halo CE trial back in the day onto a 256mb flash drive/MP3 player way back in the day. How far we have come!

Worked great for a while then died
Had I written this review in the first year of use, it would have been 5 star. Very small, lightweight and portable and easy to use. I set this up on my macbook pro as a time machine drive and it worked very well. But 14 months after purchase, it's suddenly dead. I did not expose this to the elements, no heat/water or shock. It mostly sat on my desk connected to my docking hub. The mac sees the drive in the Disk Utility, but cannot repair or mount it. The blue lights turn on occasionally, but there is no other sign of life. I've got 14 months of back up on this little drive and now it's about as useful as a stale pack of chewing gum and pretty much the same size. I'm very disappointed, and while I don't expect a drive to last forever, I would certainly don't think it's unreasonable to assume an SD drive will not fail after barely one year of use.

Great external ssd
I needed an external ssd for a server project and this worked perfectly! It's fast & hasn't really reached a point of getting hot, but I haven't been copying a lot of data to it at a time yet. Build quality seems good.

As efficent as I hoped.
While I can not speak to its longevity or endurance, it handled large data transfers efficiently and effectively. I was very pleased. I am only useing them for redundancy and thus not a high trafic/use application but I felt they performed well.
