Good info for grandchild

This is a great book for young,autistic, people. My 10 year old son and I are reading it together,and he's really enjoying it. We love that this book is very relatable and so positive about autism. The language is very easy to understand and it's perfect for older kids/teens. I like that there's discussion sections in this book as well,and my son often interjects his thoughts or questions. Good job on this book! (I'm a real customer and bought this book on my own as I have a 10 year old,autistic, son).

Excellent, easy-to-read book about autism for tweens and teens. It is informative. It defines autism and uses real-life examples to help kids understand more about their neurodivergence. I recommend this book for autistic kids and their parents.

I can't stop recommending this book to families with kids on the spectrum. It is so positive and empowering and was exactly what we needed to help our 8-year-old learn about her diagnosis in an affirming and supportive way. It's awesome to be autistic!

Best book I have read on Autism. Affirming, honest and written by an Autistic author.

I love this book! I work at an elementary school in spec ed and I find this book very useful. I hope to read it to help some students understand how amazing they are!

My son was recently diagnosed with autism and we’re taking a strength based approach, honoring and celebrating who he is. He loved this book… It really affirmed for him who he is, and why he is special.

My grandson read the book and said it helped. I also read the book and it help myself understand more as well. Great book.

I bought this after our son was confirmed autistic, as he asked was there anything could read after we shared the "diagnosis". He was 9 at the time, and is an avid reader. He read the book in approx 90 minutes and could really resonate with the content. Highly recommend. Edit to add, ive left it out for our recently confirmed 13yr old daughter but she has no interest. Likely a child thing rather than a book thing.

Great idea! Really helpful to support Autistic and other children struggling with being themselves in adolescence. Written by an Autistic person Yenn Purkis who is a very famous advocate. Wish I had this book when I was growing up. Clear consise understanding throughout this book. Any Autistic people, teachers, parents, friends please use this as your template to support and help.
