Apa Guidelines

This product is great to have if you are a college student that is going to be writing APA style papers. It covers all of the main APA style guidelines to the T without a bunch of nonsense needed on it. Very nice that they are laminated and hole punched for being able to be carried in your three-ring binder. I use mine every semester on a constant basis and I keep it in my writing binder at all times. As I said, if you were a college student that has to write APA style papers you cannot go wrong with this quick guide line.

I purchased this chart to have a quick reference for my students' work as I teach online courses which including writing and citing in APA style. Since I've been using it, I have also been mentioning it as a possible, reasonable cost option to my students.

I recommend this to my students all the time. This is a great tool for someone unfamiliar with the APA format or for someone who has used it before but needs a refresher.

This is a great tool showing APA guidelines, but it's very wordy and sometimes hard to navigate to find things right away.

Got me through my "Methods of Experimental Psych" class and will likely help me through the rest of my psych degree. NOT a replacement for the manual, but a great reference if you are in the middle of a paper, or can't remember something and you need it quickly. Overview: * Has some use for beginners, with diminishing returns. * Some parts of this, you'll probably never use. * I wish there was a three-page reference just about citations. * APA 7 now makes this somewhat obsolete. There are different reasons you might need to know about APA. If you are like me, you may be writing a lot of APA papers for school. This has turned out to be a mega lifesaver for me. Super handy. However, I've found that I pretty much just need the last third of this guide. I could tear off the first two parts and throw them away and still be good for 98% of what I need. The first two parts are geared towards more formal papers, like dissertations or peer-review articles. I really haven't found much need for that information. And honestly, I hope I never do. If your circumstances are different, then you might really love having this information handy. The other thing I've found over time is that after a year or so writing APA, I need this less and less. It was a really handy cheat sheet as I was just learning. And I'm really glad I bought it. But if you are already writing a lot, you may not find as much value in this as somebody that is new. Finally, now that APA 7 is out, the information on this document probably is a bit outdated, so keep that in mind as well.

Great "at a glance" guide! I use it very often when writing papers for my graduate courses. It has a lot of useful information and is organized in a fairly logical manner. Would definitely buy it again because it is quicker as an "at a glance" resource than pulling out my APA 6th edition manual or googling the answer.
