Super easy to use in recipes, great flavor. Good stuff. Already puréed is much easier for cooking

I can't even give this item one star! The preserved lemon paste smelled like paint thinner. I tasted a small amout and it was awaful! Not tart or bitter, just tasted like chemicals. Don't buy this one!

I had been getting locally-made preserved lemons, but the company was sadly destroyed in Hurricane Helene. I tried a few other products (the ones that are whole or half lemons). I gave this one a try because the reviews were good - THIS is now my favorite. The puree is far more economical and the taste is more concentrated. It has all the bitter saltiness I crave without the unpleasant bitter aftertaste. It is perfect in, well, everything: salads, soups, sautéed vegetables, meat marinades, dips, sauces . . . everything. And it is easier to use than the whole lemon products.

It's not horrible, but if you are looking for more of a lemon taste..keep looking. This was more salty than anything. Couldn't add more to the re ipe for fear of getting it too salty. Think I'll try lemon paste next

Ordering more! This product is becoming a pantry staple at our house. Add it to salad dressings. Can't wait to mix it with chopped sage and some butter and put the mixture under the skin of a chicken before popping it in the oven. Yum! I've tried other brands and they were just bitter, bitter, and salty. This has the perfect texture, tang, and lemon flavor with just a hit of bitter-ish sharpness. It holds up well mixed with other ingredients. I use it every day with my sardines...of which I'm not a huge fan...but these chopped preserved lemons and a few grinds of black pepper make the sardines a pleasure to eat and actually enjoy.

Great taste and easy to use in recipes. Pre-minced makes for a faster and cleaner use of preserved lemons. Very good product.

Too salty

The jar was not properly sealed. It opened far too easily and product had escaped around the rim and lid. This is not food safe since it requires refrigeration anfter opening. The product will need to be thrown out. Amazon refunded the price, so I have ordered a replacement to see if this issue was one off or a production problem. We’ll see. Of note, in the same order I received a jar of whole preserved lemons from the same manufacturer and the lid was so tight I could not open it without the usual tricks to unlock a tight jar seal…as one expects.
