Waste of money
I’m a general contractor and I buy a lot of prep materials on Amazon and was very disappointed that this product wouldn’t stick to anything. It was a big waste of money.

I have been building a pull-behind camper trailer
I am building my camper on a 6x14 foot flat utility trailer. The first part was making the wood "subfloor" for the camper on the metal trailer's base. I did begin the walls, but before I started work on the interior, I wanted, needed to put down the finshed floor. I have manufactured wood floorng that click together and laid the floating floor material beneath it before I laid the finished flooring down. This wood flooring was down and now, before going on, I used this protection film to put down a layer over the finished flooring. Now I could finish the exterior/interior walls and roof/ceiling of the camper as well as put together the interior's galley, seating/dining area, shower/toilet area and the sleeping area. Of course, "hidden" parts of the build as well - the plumbing and electrical parts to make it a comfortable camper. But in all the work, my finished wood flooring stayed clean and neat without scratches, ground in dirt or paint drips ruining that first part of completing my camper build. Worked great!

Sticks better to hardwood than LVP; easy to use
This protective floor film is an interesting product. In the final analysis, my feelings are mixed. This product sticks much better to hardwood than it does to LVP. But that's not to say it didn't stick at all to LVP - it did, just not securely and it didn't stay stuck to the whole surface until removed. The adhesion was loose and inconsistent on LVP. On hardwood, it was firm and consistent. I'd say that the usefulness of this product will depend on your use-case. If you'll be generating lots of dust or have any concerns about the risk of people tripping, this film is going to let you down if you're applying it to LVP. If you just need to generally cover surfaces and want it less loose than sheets of plastic, this product will get the job done. I recently finished some DIY remodeling and moving work. We went through two large rolls of heavy drop cloth paper. Naturally, I ordered this plastic adhesive *after* the project was done. I've mostly just tested the plastic; haven't used it in a real-world application yet though I did find an off-label use for it: we needed to move an antique drop leaf table in a less-than-ideal vehicle so we used the plastic like pallet wrap and wrapped the plastic across the top, down one leaf, twisted it across the bottom, back up the other leaf, and sealed it against itself back on the top. It worked great for that. I think, going forward, I'd choose the thick paper drop cloth rolls whenever possible for the simple reason that the paper is recyclable. Well, also because it's cheaper. But I can imagine scenarios where this plastic film would be a better choice, depending on the nature of the project. It's actually easier to handle and cut than heavy paper. And doesn't require a separate adhesive which makes application a much simpler, streamlined process.

Adheres Well
I haven't fully covered a floor yet but I cut off a strip to test it. It adhered well to vinyl and hardwood flooring, it didn't slip and after leaving it overnight on each surface, it pulled right off without leaving any adhesive on the floor. I tried it on tile flooring which has a very slight texture to it (similar to slate) and it did adhere lightly but I don't think it would stand up to any traffic. If you were painting and wanted to cut a narrow strip to protect the tile from paint drips, I think that this film would work fine. But in fairness, the description does state that this film is not for textured surfaces, carpets or rugs. One notable feature is that this film has the adhesive on the outside of the roll so if you are covering a large expanse, you can just put the roll on the floor and roll it across the room and the film will adhere as you go. Don’t waste your money.
Did not stick to anything. Not even itself. Definitely would not recommend. Would like a refund for this garbage.

Doesnt leave sticky residues
The floor protector lasts about 15 more days than other regular adhesive floor tapes. It has a good amount of tape to cover all the space you need. Also i like how the tape doesnt leave sticky residue after month long of placement.

doesnt leave a residue
I love this stuff! I assumed the sticky side would be on the inside of the roll, but it's actually on the outside. This makes it very easy to unroll and press it onto the surface I want to protect. Then I can roll it out to the desired length and cut it with any sharp object. When I'm finished, cleanup is a breeze—just pull on each end and fold it together. It doesn't leave any residue behind. I haven't had any problems with dirt or debris sticking to the roll when it's not in use, either. It stays in place wherever you press the plastic down. I love this stuff and will never let myself run out.
