After trying various dog foods over the years for our 10-year-old Labrador (who has both a sensitive stomach and a tendency toward itchy skin), I decided to give Burns Pet Nutrition Original Lamb and Brown Rice a go. But he tucked into Burns Lamb & Brown Rice without hesitation. I didn’t need to mix in wet food or toppers to tempt him — he happily munched on the kibble dry. One thing I noticed is that it’s not overly greasy or smelly like some other dog foods, which is a bonus for storage and handling. Packaging The 12kg bag is well-sealed and sturdy, and it keeps the kibble fresh over the weeks it takes to get through it. The resealable strip works well, but I transferred it to an airtight bin for easier scooping. It has made a real difference to our dog’s comfort and health, and I feel better knowing I’m feeding him something that’s both nutritious and gentle. Great for my lab retriever who has IBD following HGE and now thriving! After months of trying to find a food that wouldn't irritate her tummy this Burns Brown fish and lamb had seen her turn a corner! Great for sensitive tummy!

This is well marketed and if all is correct, it is a holistic good quality food and some of profits go to charity, so has to be commended. Dogs eat it...but I can't testify to flavour!!! Expensive but then all prices are rising! Kibble is actually quite large, so not great for small dogs.

I can’t tell you how many kibbles we’ve tried but this one seems to work for our old English Sheepdog with his sensitive stomach. We do have to add a bit of chicken to get him interested but on the flip side, he has smaller firmer poos now and no upset stomach.

Arrived super quick, great alternative to chicken.

If my dogs happy I’m happy. She likes the food has no skin reaction to it so will continue to order.
