Very good product so far. Good quality
Just received the product yesterday and I have no complains about it. Quality appears to be good to me. Sensor cooking was working just perfect this morning, preparing a bowl of oatmeal. The microwave stopped automatically in the very right moment. I also tried to defrost a 2.14lbs ground meat and it was a little bit tricky but nothing different than every other microwave, you just need to flip it occasionally. Surface of ground meat got quicker hot than inside but at the end after 20min the ground meat was ready for cooking. Display was okay, I haven't tested during daylight if too dim, as stated in other reviews. Also when door open the light inside of the microwave stays on, compared to other models from what I have read in other reviews. Minute rotating button very nice and smooth. Quick minute button available, I love this function (one of the reasons I got the product). Overall so happy for now that I cannot explain it. Makes a very solid impression. Let's just wait and see if this first impression of quality and functionality will be justified over time. UPDATE September 5, 2018: The microwave died probably two years ago. Very sad.

Easy to use..but very dim display light
This is our 3rd Panasonic microwave in 12 years because they are the only brand that fits in the "box" in our cabinetry and we find them to be a very good product. (yeah...I know, they should last more than 4-5 years, but I don't realistically expect that.) When we set this one up, we noticed that the display light that shows time, power level, etc. is extremely DIM and you have to sort of move your head around to catch it at a good angle to be able to read it. We called Panasonic customer service who were no help at all. They asked me if it was plugged in after I told them that the microwave worked fine, but the light was almost illegible. Really? How could the microwave work if I didn't have it plugged in. Then told me to try a few other things and kept repeating what the repair and warranty policy was---net, no help at all. I wasn't going to spend a few hours driving back and forth to a Panasonic repair dealership for a 15 minute old product that should have just been replaced and was going to work with Amazon for a replacement. When we were out today, we stopped in an appliance store--we learned that this line has some sort of new low power light (no...it's not LED, that would be bright) that is supposed to be very dim. We are keeping it because it fits in our space and seems to do the job just fine, but this low light thing is going to drive me crazy. Of course, it would have been helpful if the Panasonic rep knew her own products and just would have filled me in on this!

A really nice microwave
This is a fabulous microwave. It is great looking, convenient to use, has some nice features and is really powerful. It cooks a lot faster than any other microwave I have had. A great feature, which is one of the reasons I bought this oven, is that it has push button and dial controls, and no touch screen keypads which in my experience are often tetchy and prone to failure. A note of caution - because of its high power reduce cooking times from what you may be accustomed to.

Great product, quality supect, service is so automated you will wonder if they employ anyone other than autobot voice options.
This product is really easy to use. The sensing features may take a little getting used to since you never have to worry about entering a time. It works really well. The build quality is quite good - I get annoyed with how hard the door closes - it it was on the floor I would just kick it shut. I relish just giving it a good slam but I wish I didn't have to. Here is where I get suspicious. After about 10 months of use it has started to emit what I know to be the smell of electrical stuff overheating. OK, maybe mine is a freak of nature and all others never have this problem - but beware! See if others are reporting this issue. Finally - service. Since my unit is still under warranty I wanted to get it repaired. Of course I'll need to trust some robotic voice that says "Insure you shipment. Send to ''address in Texas". No explanation, no instructions just an address. I tried to contact other parts of the organization but all roads lead to automated support phone hell. The product info gives you the automated number to call and precious little about the procedure. If this goes well the, if possible I'll update this review. Otherwise I'll leave it a great product - suspect quality - crappy service.

Very Happy
We just received this microwave after several years of not having one. I was very hesitant about having a microwave without a number pad, but now, I have to say that I absolutely love it. It's extremely convenient super easy to use. The food cooks extremely well. I'm used to having to microwave a little outside of the norm, but this was a real treat! I can't wait to see what else I can do with this. I'm also impressed with how deep the machine is, I don't know if I'll ever be using it for larger things like reheating casseroles etc, but at least now I know I have the option. All around an impressive machine.

The first one lasted a couple years before the you ...
The first one lasted a couple years before the you could no longer open the door. I bought the same one again because it's a built in and hard to find anything else that fits the space. The second microwave worked a little over a year before the door latch quit working. I've purchased a third microwave because of the exact measurement requirements for the space. I purchased the 2 year warranty assuming it will break again. I already know it's going to be a hassle to have it fixed. It's despicable the company doesn't fix this problem that so many customers have complained about in the past and will complain about in the future. Heed my warning....do not buy this one if you have a choice. Moving forward, I'm going to start shopping now to find an alternative before my 3rd one breaks, because I know it will...

Good product, but installation can be a problem
The microwave works fine, but Panasonic should put in a disclaimer that the product should not be mounted in a cabinet above eye level. The information screen is dim but readable when viewed from above or straight on, but disappears completely in normal light if you are looking up at the screen.

Good microwave but the LED display isn't quite right
Nice looking microwave, pretty easy to use and works well. The only issue I have has been mentioned by others... the LED display segments are unevenly lit. It looks like the voltage to the display isn't sufficient. It can be read when looking from above or straight on, but don't put this up high where the display is even slightly above eye level, it will look completely blank... like it is off. I emailed Panasonic about it and got this response: The display of the microwave oven is digital and made of LED. There is no programmable setting on the unit to adjust the LED, but instead we recommend placing the microwave oven to an area where there is proper lighting. Also, to get an accurate view of the display, we suggest that you look at it on an eye level when programming. Seems like they know about the issue but don't want to address the design/engineering flaw. Disappointing.
