Thick, neutral-tasting, and simple ingredients!
I have been using plant-based milk alternatives for years now due to a milk allergy, and recently found out that I have developed allergies to soy, oats, macadamia nuts, and pistachios. I used to use mostly oat milk for my coffee and liked that it was thick and neutral-tasting, so I was hoping for a new allergy-friendly alternative for me. Since oat milk, soy milk, and my other favorites (Tache and Milkadamia) are now sadly out of the question, I gave this a shot because it got really good reviews online. I am very impressed! It's definitely thick and creamy, and it doesn't change the taste of the coffee in the same way that some other milk/milk-alternatives do. I took a gamble buying this since you can only get a pack of 6, and it's a bit pricey when you factor in shipping, but I'm glad I tried it! I love that the cartons are shelf-stable, because I literally only use "milk" for coffee, so this 6 pack should last me awhile. I will be coming back for more!

I absolutely love this! It truly makes my homemade lattes amazing!
I got a fully automatic espresso machine but the amount of sugar in regular dairy, paired with the fact that I was lactose intolerant, was an issue. This is BETTER than milk in my lattes and my Cuban cortaditos. It has a smooth taste, a little bit like evaporated milk to me, but not really. All I can say is you just have to try it. For me, it's the best plant based milk for espressos that I have ever had with 1/3 the sugar. I went on subscription and after a couple of weeks of lattes and cafecitos with this, I have gone from 3 months to two month intervals. I believe I will be a customer of theirs for YEARS. I love this. Good job, Sproud! Please keep this in stock!

Works great for hot espresso drinks, microfoams nicely.
Given Oatly's repeated inability to keep its product available—as well as that company's recent decision to preference Starbucks over individual customers who've been buying their product for years—I decided to try Sproud Barista as an alternative. So far I'm impressed. It's a different product with a different taste than oatmilk, and so it's not a seamless replacement. But Sproud is working really well for my primary need: as a steamed milk for cappuccinos and cortados. It microfoams really well—better than Oatly Barista in fact (though it takes a little practice to learn how it wants to be steamed to get just the right consistency). It blends nicely and carries the espresso flavor well. So, as a replacement for Oatly in my hot espresso drinks, it's great. However, I don't like it as much as Oatly for cold espresso drinks (e.g., iced lattes). With those, Sproud Barista's subtle pea taste and texture, at least for me, doesn't blend as nicely in a cold drink. Though it may be that's only the case for the Barista variety; perhaps that's really only best for hot drinks. Regardless, I'm happy for the alternative and appreciate getting to work with a new company after the disregard Oatly has shown for its individual customers as of late.

Good vegan milk option
This was a pretty good barista milk. It foamed up well, didn't have a strong aftertaste or weird texture (like some vegan milks), and kept well in the fridge after we opened it. We checked this out as an alternative for the Ripple barista milk, which has been unavailable lately, and found Sproud to be an acceptable substitute.

Pea Milk
I was very curious about Sproud Pea Protein Milk Barista Style. I have been trying different plant based milks in my coffee and decided to try this one. I should have read the Ingredients list before purchasing, as I probably would have passed. Since I bought it, I had to try it. I was surprised that it was pretty good. It frothed well and was creamy and had a good flavor. Now to the ingredients - There are a couple of things I would like to see: Organic - No Canola Oil even if it is non GMO, it is not expeller pressed nor organic, So it most likely has glycophosphates another is Agave Syrup.. I'm not sure if its to hide or add flavor, but when looking to cut carbs, I don't like to see added sugar on the label. It's a good tasting product, but they could make it even better. The reason I gave it a 3 review were the ingredients Going on taste and frothiness/creaminess I would have given it a 5 stat rating.

BEST Dairy Alternative for my coffee
Being lactose intolerant, I've been on a long search for a dairy alternative to drink with my daily coffee. I found a good soy barista blend that worked well with my nespresso and was satisfied...until i discovered sproud. I had it at my sister-in-laws place and fell in love with it. Ever since then I have had the barista milk on subscription! It really is the best tasting to drink with my nespresso. Froths up great, and doesn't give me a weird non-dairy taste that overpowers my coffee. I also get their chocolate milk and will mix that in if I want to have a mocha :) hands down the best dairy alternative i've ever tried.

Power to the PEA
We started getting Sproud products due to cow milk intolerance. Cashew milk has been the best and most creamy we found, but it isn't very green, so we were searching for another solution. Along comes Sproud Pea protein milk! Fantastic, creamy, frothy ... everything we want in a coffee & tea cream substitute! It is sold in shelf stable containers, only needs to be refrigerated after opening. For our tastes, it goes well in any coffee, frothed or not, as well as in brewed chai teas. We have been buying this product since October 2020 and will continue.

Delicious dairy alternative
This is my favorite milk alternative that I have ever tried (although I realize that's a very personal preference). The texture is soft and creamy. The price a little too high though.

Most important thing is that it doesn’t taste bad. It’s very neutral so it’s perfect for mixing with protein powder. Also very thin when refrigerated so it’s even easier to mix. Chock full of vitamins and extra protein makes it my go to.

If you are allergic to dairy, this is the stuff. I love coffee and I make a lot of lattes and such. I like the sweetened stuff for coffee and unsweetened stuff for cereal. This is the closest thing to milk for consistency and taste of milk that I've found and makes great foam for espresso based drinks. Great for cereal as well. For baking, I can't comment. Ask my wife.

I've been trying to stick to keto for a while, but found giving up my weekend cappuccino treat difficult. Normal 3% milk has 12g carbs per 240ml, and would throw me out of ketosis every time. I'd tried supermarket almond milk, but it had a strong taste, and didn't make the coffee look or taste appetizing. I went down the rabbit hole on various non-dairy barista milks and was happy to find this one. 4g carbs, creamy and gets a good foam....the coffee is less sweet (obviously) but this works for me. The foam doesn't last as well as normal milk. Within a few minutes the head has shrunk considerably. It's also an off-white colour so you don't get the bright white foam. These are compromises I can easily live with.

Disgusting, truly. I poured most of this out because it tasted awful. I am always trying to find a cheaper alternative to Earth's Own Barista Milk, but there aren't any that match it in taste. The search continues.

The milk itself I like. Very nice with coffee, tea or even oatmeal. However, this is my 3rd order and expiry day is way too close. It's August now. 6 pack expires in September. I think it's a bit "pushing it" for a long life product.
