I picked up the TERRO Ant Killer Plus Multi-Purpose, and honestly, this thing is weirdly satisfying to use. The shake-and-go bag is genius — you literally grab it, flip the spout, and sprinkle it around like you’re seasoning a giant backyard casserole. No scoops, no funnels, and best of all, no touching the actual insect killer. My hands stayed clean, my dignity stayed intact. Living in the Seattle area during winter, I was worried the constant rain would wash everything away in five minutes (like it does with my driveway chalk art), but surprisingly, this stuff doesn’t disappear immediately. It actually stays put long enough to do its job. Ants and other little invaders got the message pretty quickly. After applying it around the perimeter of the house, activity dropped off fast — like they read the eviction notice and politely moved out. Super convenient, effective, and perfect for our wet PNW weather. If you want something easy to use that doesn’t turn into ant soup the moment it drizzles, this is the one.

Very practical, just scattering a circle around the house can reduce more than 50% of ants, but it seems that scattering once is not enough, so it needs to be repeated multiple times

First, thank you to the company for creating this amazing product. For the first time in 45 years my house is free of crickets. Honestly I didn't think that I could bear to go through one more summer battling these ugly creatures who even managed to get onto my 3rd floor!!! But, this product has completely stopped them in their tracks. The product first of all comes at a great price. I did need more than one bag because I have a large home but the affordability made it another bonus. Secondly, All i had to do was to open the top of the bag to reveal the amazing design that has a built in sprinkling grid and a handle. Third, all I had to do was follow the easy directions and walk around my home to distribute the granules around the perimeter. This company saved my sanity. Another plus is that it doesn't harm pets. I have a small family of wild rabbits (so cute) that live under my porch and I was afraid that the poison would harm them but they are still happily romping around as usual. I had a full on ant invasion underneath my hot tub cover. Thousands upon thousands of ants. Pretty gross. I've used Terro inside my house successfully several times, and figured I'd try their outdoor bait traps which appear to be the same thing in a different form factor. While I saw ants going in and out of the traps, it effectively did nothing after several weeks. Meanwhile the ant invasion wasn't relenting, and I didn't even want to use the hot tub because it was pretty disgusting. I finally purchased this product. Again the issue was millions of ants under the hot tub cover. I obviously couldn't apply it anywhere near or in the tub water, and the directions referenced shaking it around the area or even directly on the ant hill. I had no idea where the ant hill was, so I just shook it around the ground near the tub and watered it in as recommended. I'm not kidding, 6 hours later there were NO ANTS. Zero. Call me impressed!

I tried this product to control fire ants in my yard, and it definitely kills bugs where the granules are applied. The bag capacity is generous, and since it’s a dry product, there is no leakage or messiness at all. It’s easy to pour, and the granules stay exactly where you put them, which also makes the ease of cleaning excellent - there’s nothing to wipe or wash afterward. In terms of durability, the product lasts a long time because you only need a small amount for each area. The only downside is that the ants don’t completely go away. They leave the treated spot, but they simply move a short distance and build a new nest nearby. So it works, but it doesn’t eliminate the problem fully. Overall, it’s helpful for reducing ants in a specific area, but be aware that they may relocate instead of disappearing completely.

Easy to use package. Terri products are the most effective for any control I have ever used. It got rid of my ant problem immediately. Low odor for a pesticide.

Had a major ant problem with really small ants. Didn't seem to be sweet attracted ants but tried anyway. I use in combination with 2 more terro products and within a few days, saw no ants and haven't seen any in months. Great value for money and super easy to use.
