I've been using a diet tracker now for several years and credit it for helping me keep my weight under control. I also use it to make sure that I'm betting the right amounts of nutrients during the day. Eating a lot of grains and vegetables might be good for your gut, but it doesn't do much in providing enough protein. Vegetables have protein, but not a whole lot unless you overdose, and I'm not into that. Since I don't have salt in mostly anything else, the high sodium of the jerky is a nice diversion and doesn't put me over the allotted milligrams. As for taste, these are the best I think the manufacturer makes. The resealable bag keeps the contents fresh, and they enclose a desiccant pouch that you should throw away once the bag is opened. I wouldn't eat this jerky as a replacement for a meal; it's neither a healthy decision and it will turn out to be a rather expensive meal. As a helpful snack, this is a good choice.

These are an excellent snack for only 100 calories! I need to have my snacks pre-portioned or I'll eat too much, but a lot of the 100 calorie snack packs are just sugary treats. That's nice occasionally, but they don't fill you up and you are hungry shortly after. Well if you want a 100 calorie snack that will actually keep you full - here it is! The pieces are reasonably soft, the teriyaki seemed to be a little softer. There is a LOT of sodium in this (to be expected for beef jerky) which makes me extra glad I'm not eating a whole big bag!

These are ingenious! I love the 100 calorie snack pack idea! I stumbled upon these looking for high protein options to keep at my desk at work, and of all the options I found, I think these are my favorite! They definitely have the most protein and have saved me from the embarrassment of a growling stomach in a meeting on several occasions. I just rip a bag open, take a minute to pop a few pieces in my mouth and I'm good to go. They are a bit salty, but, well, they are jerky, so duh. As far as quality and freshness - again, they are jerky so they are tough and pretty much unexpirable so take that how you will. I am very happy with this purchase and will definitely be ordering more when I run out. If you need portable, high protein options in small portions, I'd definitely recommend you purchase these!

I’m not a fan of jerky products at all. We purchased this particular brand jerky product as a stocking stuffer for our adult son. He likes to keep jerky products on hand at his office. Our son claims that when he has a long work day and no time to go out to eat that jerky is a quick protein source. (Probably not the healthiest habit.)

They were fresh and the packaging was in tact a good condition. Price per unit coins be a little better, but you're paying for the convenience of having it shipped to your door.

I purchased this product for our hiking supplies. However my husband decided to eat it all before going hiking. I had to order more. I doubled up on the reorder to make sure I had enough. Ladies your men and kids won't be able to put it down. Buy it!

The original is great it has a good flavor and these are not hard or to chewy, their just perfect. I'm not a fan of the teriyaki flavor though.
