This thread burner is awesome. Easy to use and works great. Battery operated so no cords to mess with. Highly recommend for pearl knotting. A must for your supply kit for necklace making! Highly recommend

This thing works great! I bought it for use when trimming thread ends while making knife sheaths, but also use it on my camping gear. Very useful with trimming threads or cutting cords on a hammock or tarp where the material next to the thread is heat sensitive. My wife saw me using it and wanted one so I ordered a second one for her to use while quilting. Simple, easy to use, and inexpensive.

I love this tool. It is perfect for getting into small spaces to cut threads, where scissors are too hard to work with. You just have to be very careful that you isolate the one thread you wish to cut - ask me how I know:) It is fast and efficient. I don't know how long the tip will last, but I purchased a spare tip at the same time as I purchased the original item. One very happy customer here for the month or so I have had it. Edit: I'm editing my review because after getting rechargeable batteries it works great. I have to change the batteries pretty frequently still, but not having to buy batteries every time has been a plus. I still wish the bit that came with it had worked, so I'm glad I ordered a spare and was able to use that. The spare has lasted through a lot of work so far and seems like it will last a lot longer still. So just a heads up to people, you will need rechargeable batteries for this or else you will be spending tons on batteries because it doesn't last very long. So I bought this because it had the best reviews. People said the battery lasted forever and so did the tip. The tip that came on it was defective, so thankfully I had purchased a a replacement tip just in case, but it did nothing to help with the battery issue. I'll put a brand new battery in and it barely lasts though half a project. It works great for melting the ends of polyester thread, but the heat is only strong enough for about 10 minutes of use. After that the heat is substantially lowing than when starting. Maybe mine is defective, I just didn't want to have to send it back because I actually need it for work. I'll probably just look into ordering a different brand. If it worked probably I'm sure it would be a great product, it seems I may have gotten a dud though

kept it... When it works, makes a good job ! It was Great... the first time I used it... Cut 3 thread in a row The second time, it was a little tired and took a little time After using it 4 or 5 times ( 2 or 3 threads each time...)... no more power Probably the battery was too old ! I am looking to find the little "tip" , in case this one decides to die.. Unlucky, I never found .. If somebody know WHERE I can find the tip (not the same price of the Burner itself), please... Waiting for that, I have invested in a good pair of scissors ,

I ordered the Perfect End Thread Burner when my Thread Zapper died. And what a difference! The burner heats up right away, the cuts are clean, there is a noticeable feel to pressing the button down so you know that it's working - none of which was true for the Thread Zapper. This product came with a battery so I was able to get started right away, and even when the battery died, I had no trouble switching the batteries and keep rolling with my projects. I depend on this product to maintain the highest quality of my products, and I recommend this to anyone who engages in beadweaving, no matter the experience level. Definitely five stars.

Too bad this tool doesn't work more than 4 times. Then change the battery. Then it still doesn't work. Waste of money. Called a Euro Tool, odd, mine says it was made in China. I'll do as others suggest, go back to using a lighter. As stated, it is a great idea and a tool many beading people could use.
